Where do you buy Targeted Quality Qualified Traffic?

Hello Warriors,
My question is straight forward. Where do you buy quality traffic not junk? Not google adwords nor expensive ppc...

Can you please share?

P.S. My industry is the web hosting industry and I offer $1 trial for customers to test the waters. Where then can I buy or get targeted traffic?

Tim

I am a professional internet marketer and deal with this question just about every day. The answer I give my clients is for them to choose targeted website with relevant content, then once they have several of them in mind, check Alexa for their traffic sources and numbers. finally if their is enough traffic, look to see if the site offers banner ads or textual advertisements to promote your products and services on. This way you will have a more cost effective way of generating traffic for your website, and usually less expensive than PPC advertising.

Then you would know that Alexa rankings are pretty near worthless.

    Why aren't you using Adwords?

Just out of curiosity, are you already in the hosting business, or are you just getting into it?

I'm asking because I find it very surprising that you would be in that business, and asking this question.

I don't particularly enjoy google adwords and with its high cost per click...it is not something I am willing to get into.

PPC is really not worth it, people are starting to avoid it just like a banners. The best way is to find a good seller that is doing a business with traffic. But you will have to spand some time on research..

        Tim,

You can try paid solo ads... Which in my opinion is the best way to get truly targeted traffic. Basically you pay someone with an opt-in list of subscribers in a related niche to send out an email blast to their list, promoting your offer. There are many people offering solo ads and adswaps, etc. right here on the WF.

        Best,
        Shane

What I do is very much what TimelineSEO posted, except to look for websites that rank in the SERPs for targeted keywords/phrases. Often, instead of paid advertising, webmasters will accept content with a backlink.
Also, targeted ezine publishers for either solo ads or relevant article submission works extraordinarily well. Buy solo ads through the JV Forum, or get yourself a copy of the directory of ezines (directoryofezines.com)

That's nonsense... If you've tested out PPC and tweaked your campaigns, scale up the winners and abandon the losers, you'll know PPC is perhaps the best thing since the invention of the internet.

I've optimized campaigns for competitive keywords to such a point where I'm paying less than 20cents a click on adwords and making very healthy passive income profits.

If PPC were dying like you said, google wouldn't be making 9 billion in revenue just the past quarter. Business people wouldn't be so stupid to keep paying for ads that don't make money no?

PPC sux. Too hard to learn and affiliate marketers are getting banned left and right. I wouldn't advise it. You make it sound like a HS dropout could do it.

Those "healthy" passive profits are to recoup the thousands lost from testing.

PPC is definitely dying. Media buying is where it's going. I bet half the $9 B is from inexperienced PPC marketers losing a ton of cash. They are tons of stupid people paying for PPC ads that don't profit (I bet a ton here in the forum)

Facebook advertising works great, and cheap! You can create a custom FB landing page with your signup form.

I just got into PPC and it seems like every day I need to increase the amount I am willing to spend just to keep my ads live. Did you ever wonder if the main purpose of Panda was to for people to pay to be found? @ Mike Adams - Thanks! I have never looked into facebook advertising only because I have never clicked on an ad myself. What kind of traffic is facebook bringing you.

Hi eric. No I don't think that is the case. Just remember that if some one goes down it also means that some one else has to go up.

True, the CTR is fairly low, but the CPC is also low.

I guess buying solo ad will be the best thing for me. I don't like the ppc race especially that of google adwords since my landing page is obviously my web hosting sales page....

I know having a affiliate program will cut it any day. Have you had experience with this?

Well you could always get creative. Look up some guerilla marketing tactics. I think the Panda update will reward the people who "think outside of the box".

For targeted traffic, you should do a kind of research to find the websites/communities/blogs where there is a flavour of your target keywords.Since you are into hosting business, forums for entrepreneurs can be a great place,as these are the places where many new web site buyers/flippers hang around most of the site.Facebook and Twitter are powerful tools as well, but they tend to take sometime and patience for the traffic to flow from them.Last but not the least Press releases are among the most effective forms of internet marketing that exist today.

It's not like i'm afraid, I don't have the budget my google's expensive keywords and my site is also a straight landing page which google doesn't consider good enough...

      This is a good list.

I also set up JV's with other marketers with rather large lists

also do deals with other marketers and give them your products for OTO pages. This works well and builds you lists at the same time. Its a win win for all. The biggest thing for us is the need to leverage off high traffic sites in your niche, or high profile marketers in your niche. Leverage off their hard work and even offer to pay them.

One campain that we earnt the most from, was to pay and very well known blogger to post and plug one of our products. I think we paid him $100, but made $1100 in profits from what one post from the people that visit his site. We even wrote the blog post for him, so he just had to click paste and submit for $100. LOL> easyyyy money!!!

But its all about coming up with stuff like this, and using leverage to the best advantage. And also have some fun. This stuff can be lots of fun at the same time. :-)
