Increasing pageviews

Hi all

I have a friend who has a great website, it has hundreds of posts, PR4, 65K Alexa etc. but there are like 400 backlinks and just not a lot of pageviews. She gets about 50,000 pageviews a month.

She has absolutely no idea how to increase her pageviews so I thought I'd ask for advice here to see what you could suggest, from SEO to other ideas. She adds new posts about 3 times a week but doesn't do much onsite or offsite SEO.

I've seen several great threads here with people talking about their blogs getting 200,000++ pageviews a month and so I wondered how.

  • You want to increase your page views or you want to increase website traffic?
    You can increase page views by various grey hat techniques using proxies but that won't help you make money. The only way to have genuine page views is to brush up your on-page seo and start building links - consistently and persistently.
