Google vs Facebook Smackdown ... Who'll Win?

The face off between Facebook and Google continues to heat up as Facebook surpasses the big G in visitors.

As the heat is turned up and Google responds and creates the next back and forth counter punch, here's my million dollar question. Will the small Internet Marketers win or get trampled and chocked on their dust?

What's your thoughts?

Personally my main concern is how the CPC model will change, especially as more Goliath corporations get in the game. Will it price little guys like us out of the CPC market? I can already see many keywords slipping out of my grasp because of the skyrocketing price per click.

What say you?

I had to give Google my first born child due to getting into Adwords PPC without knowing what I was doing. I swore it off.

Second it. My first PPC experience was with adwords - not a positive one but was helpful in many aspects

Facebook PPC is something that is still affordable as it is luckily not that easy to run profitable campaigns there (unless you've studied a WSO on it...). That means the competition is not that heavy.

On Google everybody and their brothers try to advertise and basically spoil the game for many. Spending $25 per click can obviously safe some people's jobs but it's far from being profitable in the regular sense.

Given that this is Googles third attempt.

Moneys on Facebook, it already offers the same features of the Google network except they're a little more difficult to manage than the "circles" gooogle offers.

Facebook has this one, Google needs to stop trying or come up with something real.

It does not matter who is #1 among the internet giants.

I will continue to segment off my own little niche in the huge Internet marketplace, by doing my own little thing and making what I can, based on the value I give to others.

Neither Google or FaceBook will prevent me from being successful with my business, nor am I reliant on either for my traffic and revenue.

p.s. If you are losing ground in your PPC advertising, that has more to do with your competitors who want that traffic more than you do, than it has to do with the market share of the company who provides the advertising platform to you.

it`s hard to tell this early in the game...but i do know that the way Google is bringing people into the site is really smart whether on purpose or not, its creating that kool kid in high school effect on people (everybody wants in the circle). Can`t imagine whats gonna happen when they open the doors all the way.
