Hi warriors,

Do you mean what content/copy to use? Or what to use to create one?

you can use it to deliver the promised bonuses, or you can use it to tell them to look for your email that includes the bonus.

Yes. I would send them back to their email with your O.T.O or Special offer. Sending them back to their email will determine if they are serious or not. (Those that aren't serious won't bother..) So that will eliminate any bad leads or customers!

Thanks for this closer info. But still does anyone knows about something realy extraordinary, that you can for example get much more than just a OTO ? I already use OTO though. If I just want to get out of it the greatest results?

Technically a thankyou page is not an OTO page:

Front end - OTO - Thankyou

        Put your message

Thankyou check your inbox for your downloads

You may also be interested in these other offers

And put your other products or related affiliate offers on the page.

        Regards

I like to send the link to download the promised material to the subscribers email. I have a video on my thank you page telling people to check their inbox. Obviously text will work just as well.

If you send them directly to the promised material you are going to get a lot of fake email addresses that you can't do anything with.

It was kind of interesting; I got a guy that signed up using a fake email. He must have seen my thank you page saying "'Go check your email" because he went back and signed up using a real email. He realized that I wasn't going to send him directly to the free gift.

    Hope that helps,
    James

Glad I could help. You can, if you want, also set up your autoresponder to go through a process called "Double opt-in". That is where you send new subscribers a confirmation email first before the free gift.

Or you can just send out the free gift to their email. That way if they type in a fake email they still won't get it.

Either way you will eliminate most of the cheaters!

        Good luck,
        James

Yep, these are information that actually everybody can use, within the IM is tons of cheaters and if you know how to be protected, it always helps.

I use one of three things...

    1. One Time Offers
    2. Affiliate links
    3. Helping my list get to know me (ie. through a video or photo)

IMHO you should always be doing something to make it more purposeful than just a page that says 'Thank You'. Go the extra mile...

Traffic driving is nothing more than deftly manipulating distribution channels in your chosen direction. The more you massage the channel; the more traffic it will yield. Once people figure that one out; traffic won't be such an enigma.

That being said, the "thank you page" is one of THE most important parts of the sales funnel. It allows you to initiate "post transaction" strategies that can grow your initial sales exponentially. Many a "guru" will tell you that they make the majority of their money on the 'back-end'.

The thank you page is your first TRUE introduction to your Customer. This is the introduction where they've taken that first step of TRUST and given you their transaction information. DO NOT make light of this step even with all of the security in place these days. It is still a very big step (emotionally) for your Customer.

This is the ONE place in the sales funnel that the Customer relinquishes control and actively hands it over to YOU; the Merchant. They're making the first step of trust. They have to; thus the deep feelings of reluctance no matter how much they want the product/service. They're being knowingly FORCED to do something that is now out of their control but based on their own inner desire(s).

"You're not going to give me this unless I first give you my CC#."

Therefore, that first communication POST PURCHASE from Merchant to Customer is vital and should NEVER be taken for granted. It should be treated as if you're meeting your child for the first time.

Do everything you possibly can to make your Customer feel 'comfortable' in their decision to trust you. Yet, don't overplay your hand and make them backup feeling as though you're trying too hard. Find that balance.

As for specific techniques... there is no one size fits all. If you truly care about your Customers and honestly want them to witness their best experience with your and your products/services.. then, the techniques will come to you naturally.

Its not about HOW you do it; its about how SINCERELY you do it.

Typically the thankyou page is your download page that your customers are redirected to following a purchase. You can choose to redirect to a OTO page first and then to the thankyou page where they would download the product from. You can also add additional offers on the thankyou / download page to pick up to some extra backend $

Not much to put in there apart from the material you offer. Nonetheless, I saw custom Thank you pages that included related products in the hopes to make some upsells.

I can only speak for my email list thank you page as of now but it goes:

    1. A profound thanks for signing up
    2. What people can expect
    3. A download link to the freebie
    4. An offer to an affiliate product (which I promote in the email)
    5. Sign off with my name and thanks again

Just thought I would add in here you need to think about the goals of your funnel/pages.

If the goal of your funnel is to build your email address and people are coming to your thank you page from a squeeze page, a thankyou page that asks them to confirm their email & get their free gift is the better approach. This can help you ensure the emails addresses are valid ones.

If however the goal is to make a sale and people are coming from the purchase page you may want to have your product download links directly on the thank you page. (It may even be in your salescopy 'receive your product instantly') as tecHead said your thank you page will help you develop the relationship with your customer & trust etc...

I just wanted to share with all of you that there is a new method how we can USE our THANK YOU PAGE! This method can be personal just like we all want to be for our subscribers to get to know us. You can also deliver your promised bonus materials , so that your subs get everything you want them to. But also you are able to use this method to get more targeted traffic to your Opt-In page.
