Making money with Classifieds niche?

Hey guys,
Looking for your opinions on making money with classifieds niche. I'm currently working on creating a product, so people can open their own local classifieds sites. It could be anything from cars classifieds, to craigslist like classifieds, to jobs and more. I, myself own 3 classifieds web sites, so far been only focusing on one. It made $93 in 3 months with adsense with 20-30 visitors / day. Last month it made $50 with adsense, same amount of visitors, this month I started implementing a new adsense method and it made $39 in 1 day with adsense, with only 55 visitors.
What I'm planning to offer is Script Installation, domain research, how to build a list within a week and Tutorials.
I guess my real question is, is making money with classifieds a dead niche that was popular 2-3 years ago?

    Honestly.. Its been done.. classifieds sites are annoying and Google seems to hate them. I avoid them with the exception of like.. Craigslist or a local one and even then.. rarely..

      Absolutely not dead, classifieds are always going to be relevant, the problem (if you want to call it that) is that you must build your brand. Building a brand means that you need to have investment capital to "get the word out" about your brand ie: Classified site.

      Keyword SEO and all the normal ways are not going to be a strong point for your business. PPC and Banner or Media buys will.
