Good webinar alternatives?

Hey webinar gurus or at least those that use webinars in their online business. Are you using any other good solutions / altermatives other than go to webinar, go to meeting or the big names that charge you an arm and a leg?

Looking for a webinar solution that allows up from 100 - 1000 people on a call for a much more affordable cost than the bigger ones, yet have just as many features?

I know there's a lot more people on here wondering the same thing. Thanks.

    I haven't found anything better.

GoToWebinar is what I use because it gets the job
done although there are things about it that I don't
    care for.

Well planned webinars pay for themselves many, many
    times over :-)

Well, you gave me a good laugh. At a quick glance, I read your headline as "Good Webinar Laxatives".

GoToWebinar is clearly the Cadillac but many I know also like InstantTeleseminar. I use two services based on the criteria and together they cost me around $50 a month - the others range from $50 to $100 each or more based on "room" size.

You might want to consider GVOconference - it has all the bells and whistles at a fraction of the cost but takes awhile to get use to. I do "rent" out my 300 person room occassionally for one off webinars. You get to download the recording yourself. When I don't need a large room for a presentation but I need interactivity and discussion, I like FuzeMeeting.

I have written a free report which list goes over the top 10 popular platforms with my recommendations and links. You can download it at: How to Create Winning Webinars

(I recently came across an interesting free service - AnyMeeting but you get the ads.)

For those interested in webinars, I have recently developed a mini site with videos based on my Winning Webinars Blueprint and I am looking to add it as a bonus to build my list or to joint venture -- so if you know of anyone. . .

    Much appreciated,

    Roberta

There are many cheaper solutions to GTW, but in my tests, I found them to be clunky and unreliable. If you are doing webinars seriously, you cannot afford to have it break down in front of hundreds of potential clients. Thats why all the pros use GoToWebinar. Suggestion - get your webinar planned and ready, then use the GTW fully functional 30 day trial to generate the income to pay for it ..

There are a lot of autowebinar players on the market these days also, but same thing applies - the cheap ones are awful, and even several of the more expensive ones don't deliver anywhere near what they claim. The best I have found so far is Joel Peterson's AutoWebinar Player ..

Do you remember the names of the cheaper webinar services you used? What about GVO/Meetcheap or Anymeeting?

UPDATE: I tried using GVO/Meetcheap on a Mac and it was awful and clunky even though they told me it worked "flawlessly on a Mac and Anymeeting unfortunately doesn't have certain features that I need.

      Hi Stephen.
I was searching the new and found your message that you were using auto webinar player. I desperately need help with it. When i create webinar users can't join if they are for example 5 minutes late. only people who join before it starts can see it. Do you know anything about this?
      Thanks
      James

Don't be cheap and go for the best. The trial period should clearly show if you're capable of making money by selling via webinars. Your efforts should pay for the monthly fee. If not - you're doing it wrong and alternate webinar products won't help.

Check out Lewis Howes - good webinar inspiration.
