Newbie seeks help... Please ?

Hello dear Warriors!

So, I have made a new niche website : http://exercisestotonestomach.com/

I first ranked it to the top 3 in a matter of DAYS! I was pretty excited. Since it is the exact match domain, it is not so difficult I guess.

But then I went impatient to claim the top 1 spot, and I submitted my RSS feed to 100 RSS feed Directories.

OUPS! and this is a big oups. In a matter of minutes, I am not kidding, my website went from position 3 to position 40 or so!

Any way I can get back to first page of google ?

Also, if you have time can you review shortly the placement of affiliate links in my website ?

    Um, right now it's ranking like 14th for the keyword "Exercises to tone stomach". I'm no SEO expert, so I can't exactly explain that.

    And to review the placement of affiliate links, personally, I think you nailed it. The links are definitely VERY noticeable and still not messy/spammy in any way at all, and are in fact highly relevant, so good job on that.

    Also, which SEO methods did you do to get to 3rd on Google? (Article submissions, social media, etc.. ?)

    You'll probably have to wait it out. Any new sites I create are usually all over the place in regards to serps during the first few months and then tend to stabilize after that.

    Don't worry, wait a while and let the ranking stabilize (takes 2 weeks usually).

    Then start building backlinks in a gradual way, making sure that Google gets the links continuously.

    Same thing here, I built 2 new sites and they fluctuate, it takes time, let them sit for a while. I remember a while back I built a blog and it didn't get any traffic and now I haven't touched it for a while and BAM it received 17 visitors without any updating.

    I did nothing special. Actually, I had only 1 backlink at total! From a youtube video I made.

    And I optimized the main blog post with the free plugin of Bloggerhigh.com It is a totally free alternative to SEOPressor and it works like a charm.

    But they are actually backlinking your site to theirs' when you install the plugin...

    So, I will wait and see...

    Also, what do you think about the length of the post ?

    Don't worry, it seems your site is in Google Dance. Just wait for 2 weeks at least and during this time, make quality backlinks on daily basis. Don't stop. You will see after certain period, your site will come back to its original position with more power.

    It seems like you probably haven't waited long since this happened before posting about it - Give it another week or two before you know whether it's a penalty or just the dance, i doubt 100 links could give you a penalty (otherwise you could do that to all of your competitors and send them all to the bottom, right ).

    Google rankings are always changing ...your website is doing what mine is doing right now. It is called the "google dance" ...you will be back up there soon enough.

    Hi site looks good, perhaps when it starts making you a bit more money you can jazz it up a little with a header etc!

    Anyway aff links are great not blatant in your face marketing!

    With regard to SEO, it does take time and it does fluctuate.

    Have you had a look at SEO pressor a wordpress plugin?

    you need to look at creating backlinks as well, use social media, article marketing etc!

    Why not create a free report to give away (in return for their email address) and start building a list.......the money is in the list remember! Aweber or icontact are great auto responders!
