THE Language Of the Poor (why newbies fail) | Get more subscribers 3 Methods)

I just came a cross by this great line from Dan Kennedy,

"Procrastination is the official language of the poor."

I think it's very well put. Procrastination is very often the road block between rags and riches. Once you can get around the procrastination, you can accomplish anything.

This is why most newbies fail, in my opinion.

Why do we procrastinate?

Well I can tell from my experience, that I have been afraid of what's going to happen. I guess I have been afraid that my dreams will collapse if things won't go as I have planned them?

Yes, things don't go always as you plan them, that is why you should always have a plan B.

I would like to also discuss a few points for beating the bad ol' Procrastination demons...

1. Wherever you work and try go get your first steps done in IM, try to put that fantastic line by D.K. where you could see it very often. "Procrastination is the official language of the poor." -- no body wants to be poor.

2. Think of a person who is your IM idol. This should be someone who has accomplished a lot and someone you know is very quick at what he does... Now everytime you see realize you're procrastinating, just think of this:
you're in the same room with your mentor. Your mentor is working on some project of his and he is doing it with a killer phase: You see him either typing or speaking in his mic (obviously creating a product or something) like a workaholic. You're sitting in the same room doing your procrastination stuff (reading emails, browsing through forums) and you realize you're going nowhere. You're doing nothing but being busy. Being busy is not being productive. Now that you know you're not being productive, do this (must be physical movement in volved)
3. slam your fist on the table and go "DAMN, I'm not going to take this anymore! I hate procrastination" --- OR ANY other physical move you perform each and everytime you're procrastinating and simultaneously THINK about your IM idol what he would think of you when you're just procrastinating and being just busy (not productive)...

From my personal exprerience I can tell you, especially if you're a newbie, procrastination is really killing your dreams.

If you fail, fail fast and do something else that will make you succeed!

If you haven't done your first product yet, start thinking, start brainstorming.

Ideas for simple products (online):
--------------------------
A) If you can use programs like photoshop, make PLR graphics and sell them in this very forum! Other free programs like Gimp of PhotoPlus will help you get started (or create a list of subscribers by giving stuff for free)

B) Buy cheap video software (less then $50 you can get some good software that will get you started) and create videos for customers. You could even outsource this if you will and act as a middleman...

C) Get some great PLR (you can get good stuff for less than $5) and make it your own (change graphics, titles... even bundle several together with the best tips, etc)... Then create pdf's out of them and find out places where you can share your pdf's / or documents for free. Scribd.com, Docshare.com ... there are many! If you're into IM, then you could follow this path: The more things you share on many sites, the more people will know about your stuff. At the end of your free product you should have a link to your opt-in page. Possible a video opt-in page where you share how to get 1000 opt-ins in 30 days. Afterwards you could sell this report here on WF, or offer it for free to get even more subscribers

--------> now that you have people coming your way... give GOOD content and follow this mantra: A.B.H.: always be helping. Give first and ask second...

Maybe this helps some people out...
