Hi Warriors,

Am a Newbie and I just started my IM.
I was going through this forum for the past few days and found that there are many warriors mentoring many other warriors.
It will surely help those who are in need of help like me.
But I can not PM those great warriors for help because of my Post Count.

Yes, I like to be mentored by one of those great warriors.

Something about me,
- I am Sri from India
- I am a Newbie
- I have my own goal sheet(Prepared yesterday)

What my goal sheet says,
- Make $25 per day in 45 days ($1000 in first 45 days)
- Monthly income in 3 months $2500 per month, in 6 months $7000, in 2 years $15000
- Want to JV atleast 5 projects by July 2012
- Want to produce atleast 3 WSO products.
- Want to mentor atleast 10 new warriors next year (2012)

What I don't have,
- Not even a single penny to invest. I like to use all the free tools and trial versions available to make cash intially.
And from that I want to invest in my furture projects.
- Any tools or websites now

What I have,
- Desire to learn news things daily
- Hardwork, Innovative
- Dedicate 4 hours daily (Some extra hours during my intial learning period)
- Dying to do anything to become a successfull IM'r

Why I need a Mentor,
Actually I don't know where to start.

Looking forward for HELP!

Thanks
-Sri

PS: I don't know if this is the right place to start this thread. If it is not, Sorry, Please move this to appropriate place.

It's nice that you have a "clear" set of goals, but I personally think they are just too high. Earning $2500/month in 3 months from now with 0 investment and only 4 hours a day sounds a bit unrealistic to me. You should either invest some $, dedicate some more time to work or lower your expectations. It's easier to have lower goals and once you achieve them to move on to greater ones, being way more motivated cause you already achieved one goal.

Best I can do for you is send you a PM to something I just glanced at.

It is a link to someone elses WSO - but it is free and it supposedly will cover some options from that list you have.

It is a good start that you have some financial goals, but that is only one piece of it.

I'll also suggest you use the search button, and feel free to go offsite and do searches on google too for "free wso" .

You should have a better idea of a direction before seeking a mentor.

Not every mentor will be specialized in the area you decide to go in.

      Good luck!

Aside from a domain name ($2-8) and web hosting ($0-$10, free hosts like bplaced.net exist), what other initial investment would actually be needed?

Also, if you really will only invest $0 then you might want to try to do some menial tasks to get enough money to buy a domain and web hosting. e.g. do some copywriting on here or Fiverr, or mechanical turk or some GPT survey site just to get the initial $10-20 you need.

@Jill Carpenter, thanks (can't send PMs yet)

    Hi srik12

Like a few posters above I have to say that your goals are probably over ambitious. Starting with smaller goals with easier successes creates a virtuous cycle of encouragement. This will keep you going when times are tough. And they will get tough at some point.

If you need to earn money quickly then I would suggest you turn your hand at article writing in the short term, as you seem to have some good writing skills.

As for a single mentor, it is almost impossible to recommend someone based on the info you have provided so far as you don't have a clear idea on what methods to use. On top of that there are not many who will give you the individual attention that you seem to be asking for for free.

On the other hand everything you need should be on this forum, so ask lots of questions and search out some free WSOs and choose a method to start with (have look at my sig for free ideas). Then stick to your chosen method for a few months to see how it goes.

Just be aware that most if not all free strategies take time to implement and take time to succeed.

Good luck with your endeavors my friend!

    Raj
