What it takes to see your Fiverr Gig on homepage?

I started few gigs on Fiverr, but whenever I visit homepage, I see only same Fiverr gigs. Why and when my gig appears on homepage? Any idea guys? :rolleyes:

    Moderators problably just choose these gigs randomly. Or by views that gigs get outside of Fiverr (social network, search results etc.)

      Usually your very first gig will appear on the home page for a while, unless Fiverr has changed this. Subsequent gigs probably won't. So make your first gig a good one.

      I'm a little surprised that Fiverr hasn't taken a page from Google's book and set up AdWords-type auctions for the home page and for the category home pages. Say they have three slots set aside for paid placements. I'll bid 25 cents per click. If three other people bid more, they get those slots.

    Excellent idea, really interesting the way fiverr does things, sometimes I wonder who is in charge up there, a bunch of 10 year olds, (no offense to most ten year olds, 0)

    Well, I know its popular, and hey I have used that same excuse, before too, we used to say that when I worked with ATT, (mostly it was a euphemism for someone Messed up and no one wants to really talk about it) in the regular world, there should never be growing pains, because, given there are so many competitors, for just about any business model in existence, you really cannot afford to have euphemisms.

    Just ask MySpace, what happened, (most dont even know) but as an early adopter and programmer that worked on the myspace beta, I can tell you it was the software that caused myspace so much trouble.

    They had growing pains too, )

    I hope they work it all out, because that one price point must make it really difficult to see any real profit,

      I don't have any inside info, but I wonder if you took the scantiest-clad photo of yourself that a G rating would allow and attached it to your best gig, if it might not end up on the homepage. Worth a try, perhaps. As far as I know all the mods are guys.
