If I had a community...what could I do??!

If I had a gaming community with 500registered users and ~100 active with about 3k visitors a month, what could I do to get income from it? making it maybe my first source for income? do you think it has a decent base to start making money from it or it is still too small?

    I guess the most obvious answer would be to post ads on your website using adsense, adbrite etc. - I would concentrate on creating a unique product or service that you could offer your gamer members.

    Another option would be to start an ecommerce store for the site that could sell affiliate gaming products like games, controllers, headsets, consoles etc.

    Sell the ad space is probably the most guaranteed income in that situation.

      You can start making money with any amount of traffic. You can put up some adsense and related affiliate offers, get some income rolling in for 3 months and then sell the site for a nice profit.

    - Sell ad space? (As mentioned.)
    - Put up Gamefly ads?

    You have targeted traffic... it's pretty hard not to make money.

    You can't go wrong with CPA offers, it's the perfect match for gaming niche. Plus, I recommend you place an Amazon widget fully loaded with the latest releases, related products and classics in your community site.

    I have an affiliate pulling in $10-$20 CPMs by promoting the product in my signature. If your community plays World of Warcraft, you might want to check it out.
