What Makes The Warrior Forum Special?

Sometimes on the weekend...

I disappear in my motorhome for a few days.

To reflect on the world and my place within it, to enjoy the scenery and just maybe to meet up with a few other characters looking for some peace and quiet after a busy week at work.

As the evening draws in and the light fades, I gaze out over the ocean and sit beside my woodburning stove for warmth and light. A few candles lit and incense just chilling listening to some music whilst sipping on a glass or two of wine.

In such moments, I perceive a new perspective on life and the world and my relationship within it. And just every now and again the Warrior Forum creeps into my meandering thoughts.

Whilst some people will always knock this forum when you really think about it, it's really not a bad place to be at all.

What other community online can offer as much hope and inspiration as this place?

What other community either on or offline can provide hope for a better future for so many hundreds of thousands of people?

Here we have individuals from every corner of the globe, from every background imaginable, rich, poor, every describable color, nationality and race and everyone egging one another on with words of encouragement and more free advice than you can shake a stick at.

Isn't it just wonderful? I mean really, when you really think about it - what an incredible community this is.

From America to Russia, Argentina to Iceland, New Zealand to Senegal and every point on the compass inbetween. Husbands, housewives, professionals, young people, the elderly, those with a huge amount of marketing experience and those with little or none at all, all striving to make their personal lives better for themselves, their families, loved ones and friends.

No matter how 'silly' or 'dumb' the question, everyone here by and large willing to help one another out and to help you make more money. Sure there are negatives but given the size of this place do not the positives far outweigh the negatives?

I tell you... this is a beautiful thing we've all got going here.

And perhaps the greatest thanks should go to AllenSays for starting this forum off in the first place. What started out as a small idea in his mind, a seed sown has today grown into one of the most successful and positive marketing forums online.

And if he hadn't taken this initiative to act on his initial idea with a follow through action plan, can we honestly say that there would be somewhere similar online where we can all interact with one another like this?

Perhaps so, perhaps not.

Thousands nay millions of people are struggling right now to make ends meet.

They're worried to the eyeballs how to make good on their latest mortgage payment, how they're going to put food on the table yet they can come in here and directly implement just one small idea and just perhaps turn their fortunes around for the better.

What before was off limits to them, what before their kids couldn't enjoy for a lack of money, now thanks to their participation here they can look forward to a brighter and better future together.

It's very easy to moan or to bitch at one another at times, to vent, rant or feel that we're getting nowhere very fast. Times are difficult, there's no doubting this fact, yet still there is so much opportunity here, a veritable goldmine of ideas, tactics and strategies to move anyone with the desire to become something greater than all their individual parts that it quite honestly sometimes staggers the imagination. And really makes you appreciate life and the very fact that we are alive and can depend on one another for encouragement, advice or tips.

Appreciate life. Appreciate more the efforts people go to to help one another out. Appreciate the fact that you (as far as we know) only live once and never take life, opportunity, love, support and encouragement or one another for granted.

Thinking like this sometimes in my motorhome watching the sun dip over the ocean, the woodburner crackling happily besides me, good music playing, sipping on a glass of wine it's got me into tears of appreciation.

Life is wonderful.

And the lesson here if there is one?...

Life is what you make of it. Everyone has problems but we're all in this together. And the universe? It's a very lonely place out there. Here we are hurtling through space and time at a very rapid pace of knots, to our knowledge not another living thing for billions of miles in every direction as far as we know - life is just mind bogglingly incredible.

If you see a good idea here, go for it.

If you see something here which for your circumstances you think will be a good fit for you or your family... Go for it.

Everything starts with ideas...

Take just one idea from this forum, run with it, adapt if necessary to your own circumstances and implement it into a plan of action.

Create the vision in your mind.

Think big.

Think greater than the sum of all your parts. Visualize where under ideal circumstances you want to be in 12 months time, 5 years time, 10 years time and make your dreams come true.

It's hard work being without money. It's a struggle. Unpleasant even. And it costs your emotions dearly. So...

Why not expend the same amount of energy to make your life one hec of a lot better? Yes it'll be hard work. Yes you'll run into problems but if you remember there are no problems only solutions eventually you will get to wherever it is you want to be.

Hardwork is hardwork, poor, rich or somewhere in between it's all the same. You'll always have a few problems to solve. But if you tap truly into the encouragement of this forum and what's on offer here by the community members, they'll be no stopping you from achieving whatever you want to achieve in life.

One and all my friends, journey well...

And commit random acts of kindness.

Very nice post. I agree wholeheartedly... This is indeed a wonderful community.

Worldwide. From one side of the world to the other, both hemispheres... A common goal and purpose. Internet marketing is still in its baby stages if you think about it, considering that mobile marketing, iPads, electronics, technology, etc. all still have a very long way to go.

Awesome post. Very inspiring. Very true! Thanks!

    Best,
    Shane

what i love about this forum is:
the advanced warriors looking out for the less advanced warriors and practically protecting us from scams. just the other day, an advanced warrior noticed a fake paypal screen shot and warned everybody before we jumped in and bought the wso.
great site, positives out weight the negatives....

If you ever suspect an offer or indeed anything put in front of your eyeballs, do feel welcome to run it past me first and I'll be more than happy to give you my candid advice based on a LOT of experience within this market.

I've seen just about every scam and marketing product imaginable by now and can sniff BS from a mile. If this helps you to feel more secure not just in this community but online in general... do feel welcome to email me first with your concerns.

If I can help you out I will. The offer is there if you need it.

Awesome post Pete, I really connected with your message - and how true it is. Here's little ol' me, mother of two young kids, marriage on the rocks, moving out in the big bad world on my own with my kids...and NONE of that would have been possible if it wasn't for this forum.

I've been wanting to break out of an unhappy marriage for years, but never had the means. And when my youngest child came along, I thought 'that's it, things will get better...' and they did...at least not in the way I expected.

I started out being coached by a Warrior here on the forum...which led to work from the forum...which led to more work than I could manage, a feather in my cap and the guts to walk out of a 9 year relationship - all while working from home, thanks to the Warrior Forum.

How dreams were dreamed and promises of money made...and fulfilled by the wonderful community we have here. I earn more part time than I did as a graduate working full time for one of the largest professional service companies in the world. I left my job to start a family...and found the forum which IS my family and second home.

And you put it so beautifully, so eloquently that it's hard to disagree with what you say. We HAVE got a beautiful thing going on right here. Warriors - you're special for the words of encouragement and help you give complete strangers.

Special because you're made of resilient stuff....

special because you're willing to share and to teach so that EVERYONE regardless of their background can have a shot at living once again, and having the pleasure and the satisfaction of being able to provide for their family like I have with mine.

That, when you think about it, is truly AWESOME!

Agree! I've seen those as well as questioning statements made in the WSO copy vs. things they've said in other posts in the past.

And one I saw the other day, where the activity to generate the sales involved activity that could get people in trouble legally.

There was another WSO that folks were going back & forth about how within most forums TOS that one was. What I gathered from the copy & questions asked, you contact certain folks about their situation and offer the service to them.

Besides the TONS of successful marketers
sharing their knowledge for next to nothing?

I would have to say the crazy targeted traffic
for all things IM. Where else can you literally
    build a business from scratch?

Don't know how to build a site? No problem
you can find a designer in the WFH section.

Need content for your site? Go to the WFH
    section and grab a writer.

Problems getting your site ranked? Do I
really have to repeat myself again?

My wife jokes that I spend more time on the WF

          Wow, I'm actually speechless!

I have read and reread your post several times now - a rare thing for me. I only wish I had written it myself. It covers so many aspects, and so many angles on life, success, stresses and the pursuit of happiness.
I'm sure that many people saw themselves somewhere in the text.
In this vicious current economic environment, this is just the sort of gentle motivation which can keep them going, and see that they're not alone.
With your permission, I'm printing it out to create a mini poster for my own surroundings. I will select the most pertinent parts, highlight this and that, and pin it on my wall, to refer to in darker moments.
It will go right next to my copy of Desiderata.
          With genuine appreciation and gratitude.

I've made a lot of money here - but it isn't about the money. I've made so many connections and have had so many valuable experiences that have taught me not only about business but also about life. I've also gained a lot of friends here too.

Anyway, thank God it was a glitch. This is my "IM Home" and I would hate to lose it!

Yeah other forums are usually sad to go too, they're almost always very small traffic, and the posts consists of only noob questions that can go days/weeks without an answer. Here you have all levels of individuals and threads come and go so fast I still haven't figured out an efficient way to read through all of it. It'd literally take me hours and hours every single day to read the valuable content posted, and i've learned it's always the best stuff that's hidden somewhere away in a thread, usually when you least expect it. This forum is great, I like how staff stays in the shadows too, and don't post with big letters/slogans under their names that display their authority like noob forums do, it get's annoying and is distracting for threads because people change how they write and a lot start trying to kiss up to staff.
