INTERNET MARKETING

What can I do to promote traffic, and member signups, for my site: FileRev.com?

I was thinking maybe making it more social-networking oriented, but I feel like it'd be difficult to incorporate. Basically I've been trying to spread the site through get-paid-to forums and sites, but I'd like better results, haha.

There is a website called "trafficg" to help you get members signup, but they most of the emails, users use, are irrelevant and fake. And its not free of cost.

However, if you just want to promote your website, free of cost, then go for "traffup.net".
- It brings free and effective website visitors via its website section.
- You get free and relevant twitter followers on your account via twitter section.
- You can also share your website's promotional message among millions of twitter users free of cost, with traffup's retweets section.

You can sign up Viralosphere.com and then use this site to drive traffic to your website. I am also using it.

Here's one of my posts about getting traffic:

How to get traffic? There are many ways to get a lot of traffic. Here are the ones that are used more often:

1) SEO. Yeah, it's an old strategy, but it still works. It's a little bit harder to get high rankings these days, but it's still worth the efforts. Especially, if you outsource backlinks. You can use my quality link building service, if you want.

Some key points: dont use broad match keywords. When you're doing keyword research using Google keyword tool, use exact match. That will tell you exactly how many people are searching that exact keyword per month.

Another important thing is to understand your competition. You have to fail a couple times, before you can estimate your competition properly. Use SEO for firefox plugin for this.

So, the next step is to build links. You can use my service if you want or you can build them by yourself, but I WARN you - it's very boring

2) This is my favorite - traffic from JV partners and affiliates. You need a product, but creating a product is easy. Just take a PLR product and order new graphics and change the title. Then try to recruit affiliates. Offer at least 75% commissions. Go there and find people in your niche. Then, figure out what they need. For example, they might have a membership site. Tell them that if they promote your product, you will give them 2 hours worth of video content if they promote for you. That's how you recruit affiliates.

Another great thing, that Im actually doing right now, is interviewing experts. I will create a product from 10-15 interviews and then ask these people to promote for me. Many of them already said yes, without me asking them

Also, another very important thing about recruiting affiliates is to make sure your offer converts well. It should make at least a dollar per click for affiliate.

3) Video marketing. Just grab a couple PLR articles and read them. If you dont know where to find them, search for "free PLR articles". Then submit videos to YouTube. Then build some backlinks.

4) Guest blogging. Just find blogs in your niche and offer to write a blog post for them in exhange of a link to your site.

I have recently invested in Complete Guide to Traffic. It is a great resource and as the name suggests a Complete Guide to getting traffic to your website. It is very detailed but doesn't seem to miss anything out. I am about half way through the course at the moment and I have already learn't loads! Its quite easy to follow and there are little quiz's after the videos to test what you have learnt!

Release like 10 videos and submit it through tubemogul.com all linking back to your website that should definately increase your traffic.

There aren't experts in the PPD industry. I'll check out Facebook PPC though!
