What Would You Do For A BIG, FAST Push Of AdSense?.....

Hi all,

Just wanna know how you would go about this...

I am at the brink of my threshold, but when Google
sends my cheque... I want it way above the threshold...

What do y'all do when you want a BIG, FAST push of Adsense?
(meaning getting many and/or high-pay-out clicks)

Does it really have THAT much to do with positioning etc?

Let me know... thanks in advance!

Jamie

  • Someone once told me right here on this forum...

Now that you have built up a site, use it to "build a list";"run it like a business and grab customers for life"...

    and

" Don't just allow them to go click-happy and run away from your site to make you a penny while the merchant made his thousands of dollars"

    Just my 2 cents...

    Just 3 things:

    1. Find a high payout per click niche but non tech/web/IM related (ie: don't target readers which are prone to Adsense blindness)
    2. Above the fold ad positioning (this makes your site ugly though)
    3. Traditional site promotion

      Hi guys,

      Thanks for the replies...

AdSense has always been a bit of a struggle for me.

I have scripts and sites right now (a few, but probably
much as many as most of you) that have AdSense on
them, but I do not get as many clicks as I'd like.

I'll work on what you guys have said so far, throughout
this month, and see how big I can get it to!

      Thanks!

      Anyone else?

      Jamie

If your CTR is between 2-5%, it's good. You just need more traffic.
If less than 1%, test ads position, color. Check the ads, do they match your content. Test and optimize until you reach good CTR.

You have product on your signature. Go for JV, it's instant traffic.

A quick way to do this would be to start using Yahoo Answers to drive traffic to your website. Make sure your adsense ads are above the fold so that it is the very first thing that they see.

In general, users of Yahoo Answers are looking for a quick solution to their problems but aren't willing to pay any money. If you offer a well constructed answer and then subtlety direct them to your website they will probably click any one of the over hyped ads they see.

      Hope this helped.
