Stealing your affiliate commission....

Could anyone help me with an affiliate link question I have?
Recently I have noticed that a lot of marketers are sending me offers with some linked text like "How to find hot keywords", and when I hover over the text, what shows up in the bottom left hand corner of my screen is an url like
https://clicks.aweber/andalotofcharactershere (not meant to be a link!) in fact it isn't so don't bother clicking it!
Does this mean you can go to AWeber and cloak your affiliate links?
If so, can someone please show or explain to me how I can do the same? I have an AWeber account, so if you could even tell me where to find it, that would be great.
