Is the Clickbank Vendor Stealing My Commisions?

Hello Warriors,

I am seeing something really strange while promoting a new launched product on clickbank. When going to the products page through my affiliate link and clicking the order now button and going to the order form page.

The affiliate id in the link in the order form page is not mine. It has some weird nicknames and it keeps on changing everytime I do that.

While my affiliate id is present at the bottom of the page. Now one more thing I found out that when directly linking to the order form page my affiliate id is present in the link in the order form.

I don't know if this vendor is stealing commisions or just doing this increase the gravity of his product.

But what made me suspicious is that I haven't made a single sale with this product even after 70 to 80 hops.

I need your comments.

As long as your affiliate id is stated at the bottom of the order page, it should be fine.

The link in the address bar is shadowed by CB...

You're kidding right?! Until you have sent at least 500 - 1000 hops I would not be drawing any conclusions. It is very rare you would make a sale off your first 70 - 80 hops.

Ok... maybe I'm tired. Maybe it's all the cough medicine I just drank or the lack of coffee but... IS or ISN'T your affiliate id at the bottom of the checkout page? [Affiliate = BLAH]

I have to agree with Will also. 70 - 80 hops is a drop in the bucket. I'm an affiliate for some products that convert in 20 or 30 hops at times and some products that I USED to promote that I've sent 1,000's of hops without a sale.

Every time I notice a dry spell with my Click Bank earnings I start wondering "hey they haven't paid me in a while"

Then I log in and see "Hey, I barely sent them any traffic this month!" LOL

As the guys told you 80 hops is nothing. If the offer hits 1000 or so without any action I might consider looking at my sales page, or finding a new product.

Just a heads up. There are scripts out in the wild that swap out affiliate ids in a effort to raise gravity. The activity shows up as decreased hops in the CB stats. I haven't seen one that switches after the hop.....yet.
