Hi all,

Who do you think are the top amazon 'guru's ? I use 'gurus' to avoid giving them a bad name and i think they would not want to be called one...lol.

I like Jan Roos course. It is the only training course i bought and i think it is pretty good. Second that ??

I admire Erica Stone. She's posted tons of helpful comments here, and she has some products with Todd someone in the WSO section. She's earning a ton with Amazon and has only been doing this about a year.

Curious who else you think are the Amazon gurus?

Oh, also- Alex Whaley has a site with good Amazon info. Google his name.

When i search around the forums, the few names keep popping out.

Dan Brock, Chris Guthrie, Jan Roos, Paula and Wanda from the amazonian profit plan and Michael Franklin.

They're definitely the ones I always think of when it comes to Amazon "Guru's".

I personally started out with Dan Brock's course and while it's a solid product I'd probably go with Paula & Wanda's or Jan's if I had to start over again.

Yeah, start with Jan and use Dan Brock's stuff to supplement. It's great material but not as streamlined/simple/well organized as Jan's course.

He may have some great training - but he needs help presenting it, I have been 20-min trying to access the "free" training and have had to give mhy contact info about 5 times!

Trying to sign up to the forum is a joke, you jump through a bunch of hoops and he still has moderator approval after you have pretty damned near given your first born.

Brutal! Look forward to the training if I ever get there....

I know, I don't know why they have made it so difficult to access the forum. I signed up about 12 hours ago, but its still pending approval.

Why not just allow the email link to activate the account.

Fair comment and while several hundred have signed up and accessed the training without any issue whatsoever there are a couple that are having issues and we are aware of it, and are currently moving over to a better platform to allow continued growth and make it a one step process.

The forum is a one step process exactly the same as this forum you register and then I do choose to manually approve which i understand does not give instant gratification but during our test phaze its a necessary step.

Sorry you had problems and this is exactly why we are offering it for free right now to test it and tweak it to see where improvement is needed before we go to paid status.

Be assured we are working to get this single issue addressed.

Jan knows his stuff, as does Erica, I've done webinars with both of them and they're awesome. Paula & Wanda are also very good as is Chris Guthrie. Dan Brock is not just amazon but other physical products too.

I love all those courses as everyone has a unique spin on it, but the bottom line is don't buy another course if you haven't taken action on the one you own already.

For Amazon affiliate sites, Jan Roos and Erica Stone would be my picks. There are others in the WF who are good too. I've looked at most of the programs here and have taken bits and piece from all of them that I've found to be most effective.

I too have gone through most of the courses on Amazon...oddly no one course provides everything. Most teach you to outsource stuff. I would highly recommend Amazonian Profit Plan as this teaches you how to write the reviews, but it is a little light on the SEO side.

Chris Guthrie provides most of the info in his course for free on his blog, you just gotta look for it and peice it together!

I took Michael Franklin's one-on-one Amazon course a while back and it was really good. I'm still making money from it, and I'm putting hardly any time into it now.

His WSO has some very good reviews.

I will be sticking with Amazon throughout until i earned what i consider a full time income, which is around 2-3k per month. I do think it is quite possible with all the quality coaching around.

So how many of you here are earning a full time income through the Amazon program ?

    Pawsible,

I started out internet marketing at March and only bought one course which is Jan Roos The Physical Affiliate. Personally, i can vouch for this course as it is very complete and newbie friendly.

So i will definitely spend the money on his course again if i can turn back the clock. Other courses i will recommend based on other feedbacks are Dan Brock Deadbeat Super Affiliate, Sara Young Easy Paycheck Formula, Matt Carter Rapid Profit Formula and Chris Guthrie Niche Profit Course. You should not go wrong with any of these.

    Hope that helps.

If you're just starting out, Sara Young has a very good course selling Amazon products using free tools and her methods are backed up with support and training videos and modules.

I'd recommend her as an ethical and effective mentor if you need some good solid foundations.

The basic outline of her course can help you develop and once you've mastered her techniques, you could then look at more advanced strategies.

I don't work in amazon sites, but I heard of a great product last year which was promoted by many.... ummm gurus!

"Info product killer" if I remember. Also, he had some AMAZING seo concepts pretty unique, and had a very disciplined approach... try to google and see if you can still find it..

He is the best around when it comes to affiliate marketing. Plus, he does what he teaches. He just does not teach something he "read or heard about"
