[Poll] Best physical product to promote sell

Hi all,

I've found lots on here about selling/promoting electronic products, but what in your opinion is "The holy Grail" of physical products to sell or promote. I'm talking in terms of ROI, ease of IM and lack of competition.

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

I've setup a business in the U.S. (I live in Australia) and I sell fitness equipment in America on a dropship basis. Works fine for me.

I think selling electronics is something to stay away from but any other household product will work.

This isn't going to be very specific but that's probably appropriate since there isn't just one product that fits this description. In my experience, the kinds of physical products that do well are things that sell well online (lots of reviews on places like Amazon and Walmart), are things that people tend to research before they buy (they need info they can't find on Amazon before they know which exact model they want), and are going to pay you enough in commission that you aren't going to lose interest because you see a $.40 deposit in your affiliate account.

And after all of that, it's one where the competition isn't going to make you leap tall buildings in a single bound to beat - which is how I view most of the electronics niche.

Anticipate seasonal products. For example, now its air conditioners, automotive and home garden products. And now is also the time to begin promotions for back to school and then on to the holiday season. For Amazon products, I use current events to drive traffic and let the amazing conversion system of Amazon handle it.

One of the best product types to sell is what are called "consumables". They are generally inexpensive (soaps, candles, lotions, etc.) and make long time buyers out of your customers.

There is a built-in upsell opportunity with almost every order because if you know how many items fits in a shipping box you can advise your customer that they can include some additional items in the same shipment for no additional shipping charges.

        And that's a good thing.

    Ferrari's

They practically sell themselves. When someone wants a Ferrari and has the money - they usually end up buying, very high conversion rate.
