Hi Warriors,

This is my first post and just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Dave Dgarrish, I'm a full time fireman in London and a dad of two young kids! I have only just joined the warrior community and have to say I'm gutted I didn't join before.
I've tried earning an income online for the last two years, obviously with a full time job, 2 kids and a missus that works full time, my spare time is quite limited, not to mention a very small fire consultancy business I have offline.
The last 2 years I've tried learning/marketing online with very little success, I won't bore you with it all, but let's just say I've been sucked in to a lot of so called 'guru' programs and systems which promise loads and deliver very little regardless of how much work you put in!!!!
The reason I'm writing this is to say to all the complete newbies out there that the only way to build a good business with solid foundations is to learn, learn, learn and start from the ground up! Give so called gurus a wide berth and only listen to people in the know, which fortunately are in abundance on this site! I've just joined the war room and already feel like I have struck gold! Honestly I have learnt more in one day inside the war room than I have in 2 years following gurus!
I plan to start off building a couple of niche sites for adsense, starting small, learning whatever I can and go from there, I don't expect to make much, but gonna persevere keep learning and implementing till I have some level of success! I'm not desperate for the money but am desperate to be successful, I'm going to forget most of what I've learnt over the last two years and become a ' born again newbie' and learn learn learn until I'm able to go into the war room and give something back to you all.
Newbies, if you haven't already, get yourself in the war room, best investment you'll ever make! As for the rest of you if anyone can point me towards any threads which are newbie friendly with good info on adsense profits it would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry for the long post, just real stoked to be here!
Very best wishes to you all
Dave.

    Hi Dave,

Great to read that. I'm an "ultra-newbie" and am here reading all I can to learn learn learn as you said. I'm really grateful I found this website as well. I hope learning what I can from the folks here will save me from wasting my time with worthless endeavors and putting all my effort into what works and being patient as it grows and blooms.

    Off to read more.
Best wishes to you as well!

        Welcome back dave,
I also consider myself a newbie since I am not that really earning yet in the IM world and is still learning some helpful tips and information by the guru of IM world. And I am very thankful for my fellow warriors who have shared their time and knowledge to the newbies, and try to help us learn and make an earning for ourselves.

Newbies always have a lot to learn and sometimes it can become overwelming. I can only suggest you be aware the forum is a great place but can become tremendously time consuming. Get on, learn something than get off and put into practice what you have learned. Dedicate your efforts to one project and make it happen. Just don't let yourself be pulled in every other direction. I speak from experience. Good Luck.
