ive seen that on a few forums. im a noob. so what exactly is a squeeze page?

On your squeeze page you have a Opt-in form where people submit their emails and name to your list in order to receive some kind of benefit, for example a free e-book or video. The email submission is required in order to receive the benefit, you "squeeze" out their emails.

When you have a quality list, you can promote products through email.

It's a (shortish) page with a prominently incentivised opt-in and no other content.

The term "squeeze" refers to the fact that you're "squeezing" someone's information (typically and classically their email address, but can be other things, too) out of them, by bribing them with a "free PDF report" or whatever.

Not to be confused with "sales pages", etc.

Other types of pages can also contain an opt-in, but what makes a "squeeze page" a squeeze page, by definition, is the absense of any other content.

A Squeeze page is simply a page in which visitors have only the ability to type his/her name and email address in exchange for a free gift.

Used commonly to build your list, giveaway something of value and then continue building you rep with them through your AR and hopefully make some money doing so
