I have a list ofmore than 1000 flippa buyers.
Isit ethical to sell that list to someone else.I have better business to do now. I want to quit from it.

If anyone takes any random email address from that list and put in google, results will prove that this guy is flippa buyer.

If you pick any email address, I can show m email conversation(containing flippa related trade) from my email account.
Is that possible to sell one email address and that list?

Did they sign or view a privacy policy in which you state that you will not share or sell their information with anyone? Most lists have something like that. If so, then it would, of course be unethical to sell it.

    No
no such thing agreed upon but its an unwritten agreement and people dont like their email addresses being sold....but I also want to get something out of it.

I don't think it is ethical, and I dont think you do either.

But... if these are people that have actively bought sites from you, maybe you could email them and tell them you are getting out of the business and refer them to another site flipper where they can opt in to their email list. Only a fraction would opt-in but they would be more targeted and then you could have an agreement with the other seller to pay you per opt-in or something.

You'd have to trust them on the opt-ins though, I guess.

      Flippian,

If you see it as risky at all then why even take a chance?

Your reputation is about all you've got online.

If my email address was on the list (and it's not because I've never bought from Flippa) I would be mad about it unless you had contacted me first and received my permission to use it.

    @flippian.
Ethics, reputation and honesty are clearly not your forte and I expect this thread is to seek buyers for your bogus list rather than an attempt to find a moral compass.

By way of background for readers based on Flippa records:
    - Flippian was banned from Flippa some time ago
    - This user attempted to spam users on Flippa via PM or auction comments seeking to get users to register with a bogus website buying group on Google
    - The user has given up on this scam as we've implemented a number of measures to make spamming too hard to do (plus ... user is banned)
    - Flippa staff have infiltrated this list via a number of email accounts and will not respond favorably to any contact

Possibly a good time to remind folk not to respond to spam unless you wish to end up in these unqualified email lists ...
