Hey, I'm new here. Quick question

My wife bought a domain name months ago, it has never been registered. She came up with it and bought it. The domain is income-xpress [dot] com

So with that said, a couple months down the road we found out about Fiverr. We ordered a 5250 backlink pyramid from some guy ******, and he completely ****ed up this site. Guy was linking from porn sites and all types of ****. I honestly can't believe he's a "Top Rated Seller"

HA. Yeah right.

I have countered his poor quality work with some high PR backlinks since then (I bought my own software to make sure it was done right after he screwed up the site so bad) but we are still struggling to get any revenue from this damn site.

The only way I'm getting any traffic is from Tweet Attacks Pro which I use myself, and from buying traffic on Fiverr.

I'm currently getting around 300 ad impressions per day, but the CTR isn't so great.

So - my question is, what exactly do I need to do to fix this? Anyone ever ordered from ****** on Fiverr before, and if so, what did you do to fix his screw ups??

I can't post a link to the exact gig that I ordered from him, because I have less than 15 posts. So to see the exact gig just go to Fiverr and type in *********

His gig is the only one that pops up.

I've tried SeNuke X campaigns, TA Pro blasting/wait & replies, ScrapeBox blasting, buying traffic, NOTHING seems to be helping increase my conversions or CTR at all after his stupid blast. And this was MONTHS ago!!!

Hell, we even converted the entire site + hosting over to being a WP blog and this didnt seem to do anything.. LOL wtf! All of our other sites are doing great, but this one we cant seem to fix no matter what we try.. help!

Build some high quality backlinks manually - slowly but steadily. I'm sure there are tons of posts here on the forums on how to do this.
hmm.. I always use different proxies for each twitter account, i always shorten the site using like 30 different shortening services and then spin them into the tweets (which are also spun)

as for my link building, i always use proxies for that too, whether it be senuke x, scrapebox or whatever.. and when i do SB blasts, i always scan the PR of the URL's and remove anything lower than PR 2

everything that I PERSONALLY do is working, it just doesnt seem to be strong enough to combat what this xrumer guy did to the site..

im just wondering if there is a way to like.. i dunno, maybe speed up the process of resurrecting the domain.. LOL

Rule number 1 in any business :

Don't get emotional about any project, If it didn't make money in the first, 2nd and third try then leave it or sell it and move on ...

Trust me, if this is your first site then your 2nd site will be a lot better because you learned a lot from this experience,

Stop wasting your money and put your investment in a fresh start

    Good luck

i agree with this. the only problem is my wife is attached to it (it's HER first website, i have bought plenty more since my first one)

lol i actually suggested she sell it or just drop it awhile back, but she refuses to.. she's already paid for the domain for another year or two, then all the money and time she's spent on it.. you know how women get LOL

i can't convince her to drop it or move on, so im trying to do the next best thing, which is help her out if i can. gotta keep your girl happy!

So - my question is, what exactly do I need to do to fix this? Anyone ever ordered from (insert a name that is close to a really good tequila here) on Fiverr before, and if so, what did you do to fix his screw ups??
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to name and shame on this forum so I doubt you will have anyone know who ever it is you are referring to or say anything. You need to call him up and deal with him.

My suggestion is to stop buying crappy links.

What good is that traffic if it is not even converting?

I would not concern about portron`s links blast if you put the low CRT in relation to the actual ranking position of your website. If these backlinks could harm a site`s seo, then who would withstand the temptation and simply order some xrumer blasts to outrank all their competitor`s websites with 1000s of poor quality backlinks? Google is also aware of that so it`s simply nonsense.

Low CTRs may as well occur when ads aren`t positioned well. Text ads inside the the body content tend to convert better than banner ads, as to my experience. You can determine it best if the same traffic you buyed converted well for other sites but not for this site. Examine if your keywords for income-xpress [dot] com have commercial intent (market samurai analyze that) in them.

You get what you pay for.

If you are losing money, stop trying with that specific project.

Sometimes you need to call quits when its not making you any money.

i apologize about the name share thing.

i went back and edited out my post, i didnt know it wasnt allowed.

but yeah, scrapebox comments are what you make them to be.. you can use it as black-hat as u could think of, OR you could use it for white-hat techniques and just make them easier.

i have since stopped building any links for the site, as im turning to different forums and seeing what my next step should be

thanks to all who are helping. i'm also reading in places that i should continue to build links.. but make sure they are quality ones from relevant sites (which i already do) and to make sure they have a good PR (which i also do already)

so could it be because i'm just building them too quickly?

Ok, no disrespect - but tell your wife if she really wants to keep the site and the domain to go out and market the site herself!

Make her go out an earn it!

And you tell her to call me. I'll tell her what she needs to do.

your on the right track to success. you have decided to do something instead of just thinking or talking about doing something.

one thing you will learn is that most all the successful people on this forum FAIL faster than most. congrats you have failed. i agree, you should learn from it and move on.

backlinks dont just go away over night. they will keep haunting or helping you for a long time to come. good backlinks usually last a long time...so do bad ones.

domains are cheap... these bad backlinks are going to hurt you for a longtime to come. move on.

  • Remember, you get what you pay for. Programs like Xrumer and Scrapebox pollute the web with spammy links. That's why the engines are constantly re-doing their algorithms. Stay away from these types of backlinks! Use article submissions to high quality article directories. Your written Articles will provide great new content that the engines love and will insure a higher quality backlink. SEO takes time when done correctly.
