Creating Video Ecourse - Technical Side

I have already done all of the market research etc for my up and coming ecourse. I have written several ebooks before but I have never created a video ecourse. I want the course to be top notch and nothing but the best quality.

I have recently purchased a high quality recording microphone that I will use for voiceovers. I also have screencasting software and an outline in place. I am currently organizing my research and knowledge into information that I can pick through and write quality content on.

I have seen several formats for these ecourses including someone just screencasting as they're performing the tasks. I have also seen someone recording a powerpoint presentation as they're narrating. I was thinking of doing a combination of the two using something like adobe presenter.

Will the format I use affect the perceived value greatly? Will using something like adobe presenter get me better testimonials and more sales?

    Liam,

I had a look at Adobe presenter and can see great ways to get interactive as well as getting some great presentations done from adobe presenter. It is $500 to buy though!

You can get some great presentations from powerpoint, I use powerpoint and have real fun in finding new ways for spicing them up and making them interesting to the viewers.

PM me and I will let you see one of these videos, so you can see what I mean.

    Regards

    Chris

No. Not really. If the output is clear, understandable, and gives the information then it really won't matter what software you used to do it.

Powerpoint + camtasia on PC or Keynote + Screenflow on Mac is the way to go. Almost all the video courses put out by internet marketers these days are produced using this setup. My thinking is why reinvent the wheel when it's already proven to work already?

What about Camtasia Studios? That is fine for making a video E-Course.
