FTC Testimonials & Reviews

I have chatted with several people who also frequent this forum, as there is a complete lack of under standing (including me) and even an aware of FTC regulations. As most of the time we are dealing with FTC governed companies, Google Adsense, Clickbank etc it does effect us, even in other countries than USA. I have included some WF links I found useful while researching this topic. I have also read a bunch of contradictory info on the net as well about what you can and can not say. One site said you can not do a review if you have never used the product under the FTC law.

Does anyone have any reliable information on do's and don'ts ?

Azmanar: "The next thing I need to stay safe is to state in my Site User Policy
that " this site contains affiliate links that may bring commissions. ".

Fenderkid: "Actually just tucking that little disclosure in a user policy is not going to do the job. Technically your disclosure is supposed to be in plain view of the affiliate link.
If you read the story here many of these sites had disclosure but were only accessible once you clicked a link. The disclosure MUST be on the same page as the affiliate link."
