Can we ALL moderate this forum

Howdy.
I would like , if I may, request that all RESPONSIBLE warriors take a few moments of your time when using this forum to check all the other topics to root out the spammers, scammers and post count builders.

I have just gone through:
Programming Talk
Website Design
Make Money Online
Warrior Reciprocal Links - Buy - Sell - Swap!
Warrior Joint Ventures

And found a few naughty posts I just had to report.

If we all do this once every time we login then it will keep this forum from turning into DP. Also with a few people doing this then you will only need to check the first few posts in the topics.

Thanks.

P.S. Read this sticky members-moderators

The official mods spend most of their time on the other boards.

Your right, it's a good idea for us to keep an eye on those to save them some time.

How do you know where the moderators spend their time? Or do you mean that you just have observed that those particular topics within Warrior Forum have more junk?

In terms of the question, why this is happening. There is at least one person giving advice on WSO's who has commented that you sell more if your post count is higher. Now, while they also advice to NOT spam and only post meaningful comments, that's kind of like saying... 'you can save $1000 on taxes by claiming .... now only do this, if it's valid." A lot of people out there are desperate for a buck.

That said, is my post count over 100 yet?? kidding.... er.... yes, I'm kidding.

And thanks for the link to members moderating. I had never read it until now.

From what the mod's have specifically stated in past threads.

One would imagine after several months, you would have read the sticky title "members are Moderators" by now.

Geez, do I detect a bit of 'shame, shame on you'. There is a lot to Warriors Forum, it's easy to miss valuable information. Not to mention that there is a lot to life in general. I'm also supposed to brush promptly after meals, but somehow I don't manage that either.

            Hi AnneE,

I'm also supposed to brush promptly after meals, but somehow I don't manage that either.
I wasn't going to mention it, but I did notice on your photo that one of your teeth is missing

So it's not only me who felt like that.

Thanks for pointing this out loud, Valdor.

I just help someone understand about our 30 post rule.

You must respond to 30 posts before you can submit your own post right???

How are so many new members adding links to their sig files in their first post? Just come across one here. Thought you weren't supposed to be able to do that til you've had 10 posts. Am I wrong?

I think a similar post was posted here last week, but was finally locked by Allen.

Why do we need yet another thread just like it?

The first one didn't work out so hot, and I imagine this one won't either. It will probably get deleted.

Btw, it's a good sentiment though.
