I actually had quite a productive weekend. I sold a site for $100. A fiverr gig and completed several writing jobs.

This week I am planning to join the war room and launch my first service on WF! I want to keep reivesting my earnings to bigger things.
I also plan to keep my writing gigs up to earn a steady flow of cash then boost it with website sales and setting up my first WSO.

  If you have any sites or blogs with good PR i.e. 3 and above, you could gig that on Fiverr. I have made over $100 in less than a month placing backlinks from my PR4 blog to other sites - $4 for a permanent one way backlink on a PR4 site not a bad deal.

Thanks for all your positive comments. Yes its a great feeling to finally have some money rolling in again. I have a plan of action now too! Anyone who has read any of my previous threads knows I have been stung by a paypal chargeback and am having to start everything a fresh but am starting to ge back on my feet and it feels great!

Just be patient. The best thing about fiverr is once your gigs are up you don´t have to do any more work there. Just set and forget and in the mean time work on other projects. When the gigs do come you will be earning from very little advertising or effort.

Very cool congrats. Now imagine getting a sale a day. Nice steady income to help pay off a bill or reinvest into turning one sale a day into two, three, plus a day! Yes fiverr is a really great source for fast, easy cash.

it's really a set and forget system.

I have dozens of simple fiverr gigs online. Those old gigs still bring in some easy sales :-)

All the fiverr gigs that I have put up and either eBooks or video tutorials that I have made myself. Some of them contain affiliate links etc so money wise they can be scaled up.
I don´t think I will put any more effort in marketing wise I will just set and forget about them.
I am working on offering a service here on the WF and then launching my first product here.
I am scaling up my business gradually hoping to reach the $5K mark in a few months time. Starting small but every dollar counts

It *is* hard to get attention on Fiverr.

I got a raftload of sales out of the blue yesterday and not for one gig, it was all over the map. Finally figured out one of my new gigs was on page 1 of the Advertising section.

So you don't have to be on the home page. If you can hit as many categories as possible with your array of gigs, that might give you a better chance at being seen.

just keep this in mind - yes, you are only getting 4 dollars (2 weeks after it's marked complete) BUT you should still always put 110% into your work. i've met countless clients thru fiverr.

they were so impressed with the quality of my work that they started ordering directly from me, and on a much larger scale.

Congrats, like most businesses, the bulk of the business is marketing. If your idea is good enough for someone to buy, then promote it routinely outside of fiverr.

this is one thing i hate about fiverr

there are so many piss-poor sellers on there, that practically ALL buyers are afraid to put some trust into anybody.. i have great feedback, and i worked my ass off for it.

only 2 negatives, and those were because the buyer didnt even read the damn description of the gig. just bought it after looking at the photo... then they just leave a negative, dont bother to contact me or anything. it's not like i would help them out. thats just crazy talk!

i mean come on..

but yea, moral here: not all sellers on fiverr are out to scam you, and some (like me) actually do provide good service. just because someone is called a "top rated seller" doesn't mean their work is good. it just means they are making the owner of fiverr a fortune.

I have posted a few ebooks for sale on fiverr and have only sold 7-8 over the last month. I don't feel buyers on fiverr are looking for ebooks, just service, so i would say you should find something you are good at that takes you less than 30 min. to complete and offer that as a service on fiverr.

I offer a backlinks service on fiverr and i get on average 1-4 sales a day and i don't promote my gigs off fiverr, so i would say that's pretty good, but i really should be pomoting my backlinks service for my fiverr gig other places and i'm sure i would get more daily sales.

One thing to do is to research the top selling gigs and duplicate the offer. As soon as I did that I started getting gigs. Today alone I got 5 gigs.

Awesome keep going.

I make about $50 - $80 a day on fiverr as something fun.

But the problem I see on fiverr is that people set up a gig and expect sales to come swarming in.

It doesnt work like that, unless you have something really special!

You will need to promote your gig for you to get more orders.

Thanks for the advice Martin. I am planning to offer some more quick service gigs. I wanted to put up some push button gigs there so that they would be easy for me to complete without taking up too much of my precious time. The backlinking one sounds like an ace idea. I have around 100 websites so will check out what the PR is like for all of them and see what kind of services I can offer people.

Great news with your Fiverr success!

I have been selling and buying on Fiverr for a while now and get about 10 sales a day on average for my gigs. The main ones are for article submissions as you see in my sig. The success I find is that if you overdeliver and communicate with your buyers you will get great feedback...and ask for feedback to help your ratings.

I currently have 100% feedback and hope to keep this going as long as possible.

Whats the problem with the fiverr is a grown up marketplace where you will loss the visibility of vast gigs update everyday. And there will be the chances of never getting single order for a long time due to insufficient reviews and ratings to the profile.

You better to concentrate with some growing gig sites

  Ultimately, it's their site = their rules. If you can gain your gig momentum, you can literally get a ton of internal traffic, and can do very well. Just part of using their site. It will be interesting to see what changes they make when they come out of beta...

I have sold a few but i am just not getting massive sales. I have some fan pages with over 50,000 likes and yet not many people are buying my gig. Is there anything Im doing wrong. Please have a look as I just like to help people out in general whilst earning money for coffee and things:

Never had much luck on Fiverr but havent really put in the effort to do so.

Hard to think of things I would do for $5 bucks for other people.

I do search on there for deals to be had myself though.

It's always in flux, and "popularity" is relative....a gig can be 'popular' one day, and then cease being popular another day...

With that said, this guy's "service" became pretty much an overnight sensation...

Congrats BabyMama - hope the order continue to come in.

I'm about to embark on my Fiverr Project, going to get 20 gigs up over the next week - have links to a blog (for upsell) and use different traffic methods to hopefully bring the orders in. I'm really excited about working on this and know this is something that can work for me if I put the work in. Just doing some final research and then I'm good to go!

I'm happy to hear you made your first sale. People not really in the IM world may look at that and may say discouraging things but no worries. I'm sure you'll soon prove them all wrong.

One thing with fiverr is that people most often use it for services than ebooks. People still have success stories with selling ebooks but in terms of volume of sales, they're usually less. Also, you can have your gig show up on the first page for a small fee. Visibility may be all that's needed to make your sales go up. Good luck!
