Does this site have potential?

Hello please could you check out my site about Fiverr here or in my signature and give me tips on how to improve it and tell me if it has any potential for making me any money.

Please check out the "sign up" page and see if that would draw you in as a potential customer.

Thanks alot.

Nice work - I'd put some big text that explains exactly what the site is - like a concise paragraph... "What This Site Is All About" kind of thing.

Yes - I like the sign up offer. On both pages I would make 1 sentence or 1 main point that you want the viewers to really focus on a little more bold. Something needs to jump out at them.

whats in the signup offer that you dont promise on the site. you seem to indicate on the site your will be posting tips and gig ideas...pretty much everything you mention users will get when they signup.

btw...the site looks great though, you have a great start going.

I offer a free copy of my upcoming Fiverr E-Book, I shall change a few things on the site so its more exclusive to people who have signed up.

I shall change the sign up offer and add it to the homepage instead POSSIBLY. Not too sure yet! Thanks everyone for the good feedback!

Okay this newbie just sees the spelling and punctuation errors. Starts with the title: "ideas," not "idea's." Then there are some run-on sentences, and some other typos. Just run it past somebody to edit, IMHO.

Otherwise I really appreciate your posting this. I had never even heard of "fivers!"

For me it's all alot to absorb, but I can't help but notice typos. Hope it doesn't offend anyone.

            • Have potential for what?

You've been banned from Fiverr. You're not someone who should be selling tips and tricks -- you clearly either didn't know what you were doing or didn't care.

In fact, your use of the Fiverr logo in 128 point type in your header could argue you're attempting to use Fiverr's trademark in bad faith. All it takes is one DMCA complaint to Weebly and poof. Website all gone.

So I ask again, potential for what?

I was banned from Fiverr because I was careless, not because I didn't care or didn't know what I was doing, but in the time before being banned I was becoming very successful on Fiverr and I had a lot to share with people and I realized that there was potential for this as no other site had the same sort of idea.

And how exactly am I using it in bad faith? There are hundreds of websites that use the Fiverr trademark, and has their site been deleted? No it hasn't so I doubt mine will.

So I will say again, potential to grow, potential to sell, potential to promote, potential for traffic.

                The list is endless.

It doesn't matter if it's in good, bad or ugly faith. If Fiverr don't allow you to use their Trademark, you can lose it. Just because others use it doesn't mean it's ok.

I'm not having ago at you but things are Trademarked for a reason. I'd find out facts before I did this rather than assume because others are doing it, that makes it ok.

Do some research, you may also find the others that are getting away with it don't announce what they're doing on major internet marketing forums like you have.

I understand, but when posting this I did not realize I was breaching a companies trademark, So what do you recommend I change? Just the URL? Because you can use Fiverr or a companies name in a URL im sure?! Or shall I change the image on the site?

                    Thanks.

To be honest I'm not sure how lenient or ruthless Fiverr are. If it was me I'd speak to a lawyer or someone that is qualified to give legal advice.

I wouldn't like to recommend anything because I tend to avoid any Trademarked terms unless I have express permission from the Trademark holder.

The best advice I could give you is to consult Fiverr and be open about what you want to do and ask them if this is ok.

Sorry to put any dampener on this as I admire you're taking action, it's just best to be on the safe side when you're putting a lot of time and effort into something like you are.

You're still Breaking the law , by using his Trade mark. They could sue you for damages , that have an ulimited fine. I heard about this one guy who Had "SpaceBook" as his domain and Facebook sued him for 500k

I doubt you'll get permission from Fiverr. I would remove your site ASAP.

              Yes im doing it now!

I have taken all of the extra information from the tips section and just added key points, so the sign up offers more.

Changed the sign up price after the first 100 to $10 as it includes my upcoming E-Book free and a featured gig place free.

Please be sure to check it out!

Does this sign up attract you more now?

Your sign up page seems a little boring to me. You need to make it look like an offer that they wont want to miss out on. Bold something, or change some colors around.

Make it seem exciting. Also, Not many people are going to click over to your sign up page (in my opinion). I would add an opt in form on the home page instead of the link to your sign up page.

Overall good site. It does have potential if it is marketed correctly i think.

Good Job, not bad at all, but in my Opinion, its gonna be very hard to run it and convert in $$$. Its like u make a copy of Facebook, Twitter... and try to get people to your site, offering them the same service as original do... If u want to make money with this kind of Bussines, find a script , not more than 200-300$, and Run itm Promote

Good Luck, but think again, will be harder than u think, its a kind a brand already, Fiverr, so, u need real good offers for people to get in this market....

The main conversion of the site will be my upcoming E-Book I am going to write! Then I shall get started with the big money from there!

The only thing is im hesitant with ClickBank as it costs me $49 to start up and I cannot guarantee I will earn that money back, also I do not have that much money in my paypal at the moment, what do you suggest?

EDIT - Yukon: I am thinking about removing the ads once I put my E-Book up on the site to earn me money, I really need this site to convert! And for now im using Adsense.

Ok, im still very curious about your traffic... In this case, if u are sure you'll have it, SAVE your ADSENSE on your site, for 1 months, Hope you'll get a 100$ and Google will send $$$ to your Account. After, you'll Have not 49$ for ClickBank, you'll have 100$, more than enough to start your E-book promotion. After 1 month, in case you'll make 100$, Take off all Adsense, and make sure your visitors will see on your Site only YOUR E-BOOK, Nothing Else, if u want money.
        Good Luck

Makes no sense to have Adsense on a service type website, your sending your traffic away for less than you'll make per gig on fiverr.
