Are these articles written about the same thing? Theres something called SEO that needs to be put in place in order to rank for a keyword that gets searched frequently.

its very likely you are doing something wrong, but you are doing something and thats a big part of becoming success. everything but effort can be taught and your at the right place.

first, how are you tracking your visits or lack there of. not getting 1 visitor is suspicious. you should be seeing bots visit your site at least.

    Hi there Sid

You need to do outside promotion for your website. You need to also do SEO Onpage and SEO offpage.

Here's some things you can do:

**Schedule some articles to post one a day..
**Setup social networking icons so people can share your stuff
**Go and guest post on related websites that have traffic
**Answer some questions in Yahoo answers about your topic
**Make a free report to give away when the traffic does come

There are so many things to do...

    Have a great day!

Well heres an example, say your keyword is 'Laptops"

Make posts with that very keyword in the title, multiple times in the body, and then again in the end. that would be SEO

Now for article marketing, You would do the same thing, AND add an Anchor text link to your website with the keyword phrase. doing this will get your site ranked better.

You need to find organic traffic via google, or any other search engine. to do that you need to rank on the first page of google for that keyword. By doing SEO, and building backlinks, you should get there in no time. Resulting in traffic from someone searching that keyword.

if you can find your site in google by searching for your domain name then you should at least show a visit from a google bot in your stats.

everyone is correct about their marketing advice, but not having a single visitor raises some red flags as to the accuracy of your stats to me.

I know it's been said already, but I also offer some tips that probably were not.

On-page SEO is a BIG part of a site's success.

ALSO - No matter what the countless number of "gurus" (yes, I'm one of them but I am honest!) will tell you, YOU DO need to submit your site to search engines for indexing!

And the main ones? You guessed it - Google and Yahoo

Here are the links for each one:

    google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl
    search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html

Once you do that, you need to start SLOWLY creating backlinks on quality pages. What is quality? Relevant blogs or sites, HIGH ranking sites, do-follow sites with good PR, etc.

Once you have been established for awhile you can gradually increase the number of links you create each day, but just make sure they are GOOD quality and they are steadily increasing.

I can help you with a free blog commenter (yes its free, and its a full version) with a built in PR scanner so you can target and scan relevant blogs to any niche. It will automatically populate the name, email, URL and comment fields on each blog. You simply read over the blog as you scroll down, and adjust your comment as needed - then click submit.

This makes it 100% white-hat. You are not spamming the internet with useless BS, you are simply making your work easier.

You should also search Yahoo answers for OPEN questions that you can answer and leave a link on - Then keep checking your activity.

A day or so after you have left your answer, you will be able to go back (on your own account that left the answer) and vote-up your own answer, voting it as the "best answer" and therefore PERMANENTLY securing your place at the TOP of that question. Anyone who ever stumbles across that page on Y! Answers will immediately be drawn to your site, since it was "voted" as the best.

The traffic this can bring is AMAZING. Seriously.

And I haven't even got into Twitter yet... LOL my hands are getting a bit tired tho, and my TA Account Creator just dinged at me so I now have to go and finish my work.

But yeah, just contact me if you want some help/advice. Either on here or on skype.. its always on and its in my details

And how about keywords? Are you focusing on using them in your articles?

Well if its a brand new site, and all you did was post a few articles on it for a few days... OF COURSE YOU WONT HAVE TRAFFIC! Google will not put a site on the first page easily if its brand new and you just wrote a few articles... you need backlinks and some traffic if you want to see some results...

SEO is not a quick fix, its something to manage to build long term traffic. Try social media or something, like that... or try Google PPC ...

You will first want to install a tracking system such as Google Analytics.

Then of course promote your content on Social Networking sites such as Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, etc. This will begin social bookmarking your site and generate some nice traffic!

    Hope that Helps!

    Hi Sid,

The problem you face is probably because you have not found ways to deliver articles to your readers.

There are a few days to do this. The easiest way is to directly gather traffic from the current leading sites/products, which is explained in the Free WSO i have.

another way is to do SEO, which is to rank up your site for the search term and get organic traffic.

    Good luck!

Here are some of what you can do:

If you want to increase site traffic, you've got to write content. People will not visit your site if you don't write a decent amount of good quality content

Do some guest blogging, and also respond quickly and appropriately to your comments and emails.

Place images and fill out the alt and title tags with the image's keywords.

Link to other posts and also other of your posts to your own posts and also ask some of the big blogs and the A-listers for a link

    Use the social Media!

JAcob, have you registered your site to google.com/addurl? I too did the same mistakes not registering my site too Google AddURL when I built my first blog. Submit to Google AddURL, then Yahoo AddURL, and submitexpress.com so the blog getting indexed by many search engines.

Do you do some basic like blog commenting, social bookmarking?

did you check your niche/keyword with https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeti...AS#search.none ??(google keyword tool)
It's a good idea to see some details of your keyword.
I recommend to start submit your articles to article directories( with high PR)

EzineArticles -The big daddy of article directories. If you could only choose one place to submit your articles, this would be a good choice. PR6
Submit Your Article -This started as an article submission service, but has also turned into a high-quality article directory over the years. PR4
    Suite101 – Another monstrous article site. PR7
    Helium – An up-to-date article site. PR6
ArticleDashboard -Another staple in article directories. PR5
ArticleBase -This article directory has grown to a PR6 with lots of content and praise from article syndication experts.
GoArticles -This one claims to be the largest, but I’m pretty sure #1, #3, and #4 give it a run for it’s money. PR4
WebProNews -You have to be selected to get into this one but it’s well worth the trouble. Old and respected. PR6
SearchWarp -Free to submit and serves a lot of articles. PR5
Buzzle -A strong article directory. PR6
Isnare -Also a submission service, iSnare is another strong article directory at PR6.
American Chronicle -Actually part of a network of article sites. PR6
ArticleCity -Pretty much your standard article directory. PR5
IdeaMarketers -A giant, this is much more than a simple article directory. It is a newsletter builder and management system as well as a “home base” for authors. PR5
Site Reference -This is a content portal with article submission built-in. PR5
Article Alley -A standard article directory. PR5
TheWhir -Another strong article site. PR6
Articles Factory -Mid-level article site. PR4
SelfGrowth -Won’t find this one in auto-submission software. Must become an “expert” first to then get access to submit articles. PR6
Amazines -Pretty standard. Nothing fancy here. PR3
    Article Snatch – It’s pretty popular, but is a “no-follow” directory. PR5

To begin you can do SEO for a small fee using www.fiverr.com (buy article submission gigs, edu&gov backlinks and High PR backlinks )

It is normal to not have any visitors if your blog is somewhere away by the first page

SEO (Searh Engine Optimization) is the key. All said above describe the route that you have to follow.

You might be consistent with your content but this is not enough.

There are certain plugins that will help you improve your google rank, there are sites where you must submit your site and there are forums and other webpages where you have to participate to increase your traffic. But all these, plus the Internet Marketing Campaign you will follow depend on your website.

I know that you probably do not want to add it in a public forum (you said about low competition, which means that you are working on a probably profitable niche), but you have to work a while on this.

One more thing: have you connected your site with Google Analytics? If yes, then go to your "Website Profiles" page and check out your "Status". If it's not set to "Receiving data", then try: Edit -> Check Status

If your site is new then you can't expect to be attracting visitors just yet if all you are doing is submitting articles to your blog. You need to be active in driving traffic also. Write two versions of your articles one more detailed and informative than the other. The more detailed article should appear on your blog and the lesser should be submitted as an ezine to a site of your choice or sites of your choice. Ezine.com for example is the prime site but there are many others. If you decide to do this the it might be a good idea to take your fifteen articles and write fifteen alternative articles about the same subjects.
This will take away the risk of duplication and will provide your reader with a double dose of the same medicine where one version or dose is watered down and the other more concentrated. This will add value to your articles and your reader will be appreciative.
When submitting your article to the ezine pay attention to the headline because this is what will attract the headline should have your keyword in and be optimized in order to attract spiders. Dont overdo the keyword density try to imagine your readers reaction to the article , too many keywords confuse and may be regarded as spam even.
Starting out it is advisable to read the rules of the Ezine and stick to them. Format your article in the way the ezine permits and submit. Your article may or may not be accepted at first but if you follow the rules and your article is of good quality then it should be posted.
DO NOT try to sell anything in the article or the resource box just provide a link back to your site and to the sister article which is more detailed.
Once your article iis accepted you can add more articles but be sensible about it. Dont submit all fifteen at once or anything stupid like that remember this is an organic process which shows results overtime.
The article will bring visitors to your site and provide backlinks also, which are a must have for google ranking and serps ranking.
There are other methods of driving traffic but try ths first. Remember if you choose to submit articles to more than one ezine you should not use the same article because of duplication. Submit a different version of the same article to other ezines but link back to the article on your site. This keeeps the material and the links relevant.
    I hope this makes sense.
