How to have and help customers with your Web Design services.

1 - Make a website for your business, cause every web designer have one.
2 - Insert a page that will tell your future customer why he must have a website.
3 - Insert what he needs to have in a website that will make him gain customers trust and loyalty (No, it's not the same thing as topic number 2)
4 - Make a portfolio, or a another portfolio, but make it, and let your visitors know that you're doing it, don't insert a blank page on your portfolio page just because you're still making it.
5 - Don't rush yourself, you can't get things from day to night.
6 - Really, no rush, even lottery and miracles requires you to have a trained state of mine in order to have what you deserve.
7 - Treat your customers well, even the rude ones.
8 - Rude people are also people, some may be rude because they feel a necessity of having attention, others are rude because they are passing through some kind of issue, maybe they got a lot of bills to pay, children to feed, or other very important stuff that is taking their health away.
9 - Your website is not god, so if you want people to find you, you gonna have to go where they are. Tip: Learn SEO, invest on Google Adwords, or just join Warriors forum, make a signature, and become active on it :rolleyes:
10 - Your website must have a mail form and your email must be listed too, but don't insert it as a link, you don't want to fall into spammers lists, do you? You can also insert other contact text, such as phone and address.
11 - At least once per day, lie in your bed, close your eyes, and thank god for your life, family, friends, and all you've been and is being gifted.
12 - Wish success to other people, also, help them if you can.
13 - Don't make enemies, some people may consider you as an enemy, you don't need to be their friends, but that doesn't mean you need to be like them.
14 - Wish success to your "enemies", don't be envious, even if a person has hurt you, wish the best to him.
15 - Persevere.
16 - When making a web site, let your customer help you, you may be the Web designer, but if your customer wants blue, you can't make red. Make only what your skills can make.
17 - Customers loves to participate on the web site customization process.
18 - Tell them about your limits and what you are able to do.
19 - Never consider yourself "THE BEST", some are impressed by that attitude, but most people no. There is never "THE BEST", everyone is constantly learning in life.
20 - Wisdom is important, experience not. You may be very experienced in horse riding, and even so you're always falling from the horse. You'll only acquire wisdom once you have learnt how to ride the horse properly.
21 - Don't multitask, one step per time.
22 - Innovation is good, but not even always it's necessary.
23 - Your success is measured by how many times you can make the same "boring" task successfully.
24 - If you find a customer that doesn't need or want a web site, leave your business card with him and also get his details, such as phone and email, so you can contact him later, or he can contact you if or when he makes his mind, don't worry, the circumstances will make him change his mind.
25 - Your customers are your friends, treat them like that, even if they decide not buy from you.
26 - Your customer must not be ready for you, you must be ready for him, so they may not decide to make a web site now, but they'll tomorrow, next week, in months, next year... Just be there when the building falls down.
27 - Happiness is to like of what you've got, not of what you will have.
