Well I'm starting with 0 subscribers on my list and I plan to have 100,000 subscribers in 1 year or less. I'll be posting whenever I do something. Here's what I've done so far to get my list started:

1. I watched all videos on CopyPaste Traffic and they give you free squeeze pages with products to giveaway. I decided to go with "7 Ways to Make Money Online" and my own product Blogging School. I setup 2 different lists in Aweber so each product has its own list. Made an automation rule so that if anyone joins either list they're automatically added to my main IM List in Aweber. Each list is a single optin. Corey Lewis said it's better to start this way.

2. Ordered advertising at Adfly for both products. 26k proxy deal for Blogging School and 13k proxy deal for 7 Ways to Make Money Online

3. Ordered 10k Worldwide on Link Bucks for 7 Ways to Make Money Online. Note: I am tracking conversions on my 7 Ways to Make Money Online ebook because I'm advertising at 2 different places.

Any thoughts? Think this will work?

Won't work. There's a trillion web pages on the net. You gotta be different. Original stuff. Great stuff. Awesome stuff. You gotta give away your best stuff that solves a persons problem. Helps them or makes them laugh.

The example is right here. Warrior Forum. Why do you think it's so successful? You get the best info you can find on the net about a variety of topics. Nobody else offers that.

If you can copy this forums formula your list will grow like wildfire. Good luck man you've got the spirit. You just have to come up with something original.

    Actually....

My testing has shown that BROADER Squeeze pages convert better when using Adf.ly but I always get country specific...

The countries I've used so far are Australia, Canada, and Ireland - Ireland converted the best...

The fact that you're taking action is good. And I am sure you've heard many times, build a big list, build a big list....

The truth of the matter is that it is much better to work on developing a relationship with your lists. Try to make videos, write articles, etc. so that your visitors will get to know you better as a person.

That is the key. The money is in the relationship you build with them. Try and get your list members involved as much as possible by having contests, asking them questions and replying back in a timely manner.

When your list members see that you are a real person and not some random autoresponder sequence the big money will come.

Hmmm.... Warrior Forum is one of a kind. But my goal is a list and this is a cheap way to start a list.

I want to stay in the IM/MMO category. Have these products converted well?

Can these relationships be built with the autoresponder though? Make the messages more personal?

I have to second the quality list relationship over the size of the list. The lists I am managing now have heavy social media interaction (FB, Twitter, YT)with valuable and funny experiences for the subscriber. After focusing on just making it awesome to be on the list, my open rates went way up and the click throughs stayed about the same. Right now I am getting 30-40% open rates on my emails and 6-12% CTR on them.

I have relatively small lists in markets that are social by nature, but keep the quality up and everyone wins!

So I have 223 Subscribers in ONE DAY! This is after doing what I said in my first post. Adding Twitter in tonight and if it works tonight then I'll spill the beans tomorrow.

What should I send to my list to see how responsive they are? I need a well written follow up message...
