Buyer asking for a refund because he never received the product via WSO PRO?

So a buyer of one of my products is requesting a refund directly with Paypal, I'm using WSO PRO system for this, so they handle automatically the delivery of the file, NONE of my other 100+ customers complained about this, anyway, the reason he gives:

"He never received the product (Using WSO PRO System) and that he never downloaded it"

He's saying this AFTER 4 ENTIRE DAYS of his purchase, 4 DAYS and till now he decided to ask for a refund, not because the product was not working, but because "He never received it"

I'm using WSO PRO system for this, I and he received the confirmation from the system, he probably missed the email in the SPAM folder or he didn't know how to download it, I don't know, but I think this claim is ridiculous, after 4 days and he NEVER contacted us before about this issues... don't you think this is a bit suspicious?

ALSO! One day after the purchase he contacted us JUST to tell me that he think he payed TWICE, LOL yeah sure, Paypal and Warrior Payments CONFIRM that he only paid ONE TIME,

Honestly this sounds to me like he wanted to ge the product then a refund, since the first attempt didn't worked he nw claims he never received the product.

I told him I could send him the copy of the product.

Thanks guys!

Regards

George

In the W+ stats you can always see whether they downloaded it or not: it even gives you his IP address.

Can you go into WSOPro and see if the person downloaded the product?

If so then you could send the proof to PayPal.

    Just a thought,

Why would he need such a convoluted reason to ask for the refund anyway? Insane.

Break out your screencapture tool and email him.

    Hey George,

If you can't get a hold of him to give him the product yourself, then refund the guy. The hassle of not refunding him is not worth it.

Just refund and move on. Not worth thinking about why he'd asked for a refund. Maybe he really didn't get it. Maybe he thought it sucked but he didn't want to tell you that. Maybe his mom just died and he really can't focus on starting anything new right now.

Point is, his reason might be true. Or it might not. But if you have a refund policy, just honor it and move on.

I go with warrior600... in any case, Paypal will most likely (99.99%) refund him even if you prove for them that he downloaded the product!

I have similar cases with few buyers and I always find it easier to just refund them and forget about it.. the hassle of refusing to refund is much more than pretending they are "right" and refunding them!

One day, I got a customer who already downloaded the product after paying for it, but his reason was that he did not know he was going to be charged if he clicked "buy it now"... he told paypal he was trying what happens after he clicks on Buy Now... and I send a prove to paypal from my server that he even downloaded it... but they refunded him!

LO no, I haven't refunded him, Paypal just put the money on hold, on since this sale was made by an affiliate using the WSP PRO System how shall I proceed with this? Does the affiliate pays 50% and I the other 505 or what? Paypal put on hold the FULL amount...Hmm I'm confused.
