    Good point wrong#.

I'm just not sure if this particular market will ever be diluted enough to make a difference.

That kind of "circular marketing" has been around for ages. I remember answering a "work at home" classified ad many, many years ago . When I got the "kit", it basically instructed me to go do the same thing... That is, take out a classified ad and promote the "kit"! Boy, did I feel like a twinkie

I didn't realize there was a rule that says sellers can't also be buyers.

Don't feel bad. I think most of us have done that. I know I did. I even tried to do it, but spend more on postage and advertising than I ever received from the sale.

WSO's can be great - some people might know things other marketers don't, so what's the problem?

Yes, a lot of people make most of their money with WSO's themselves... but if they're providing me some value (saving time, money, effort), then I'll happily pay a few bucks to fix my problem.

The idiots and fakers usually expose themselves sooner or later.

Also I understand op's feelings they are not always true. If you are selling your genuine money making methods then that's good. If you are faking the info then that would be wrong.

Newbies can earn their first money selling a service here or selling their original PLR or something that we may need not related to making money (like time management or a Wordpress security tutorial, for example).

A WSO on WSO selling is probably a good idea, especially if it gives you tips and advice on how to avoid costly mistakes or how to maximize your WSO.

Yes, these are usually catered for those who are currently selling a WSO or plan to launch one, not for completely new marketers..

I've bought WSO's on selling WSO's and selling services back to Warriors and must say that they work, and don't seem to get over-saturated. Most converted sellers are still going to be buyers, whether they continue to sell or not.

Not sure why you'd think this is "crazy" or "uncool". WSO sellers have to sell their own unique products/services. So all a course sold as a WSO teaching you how to sell using WSOs can do is provide you with a methodology of a successful process.

Let's say at least 3+ people buy a WSO on selling WSOs. One just developed a new software. Another a new service. Another is selling some PLR. Another... Each wants to learn how to best maximize their ROI in WSO ad space. How does this create a diluted market? I would think it would create a smoother marketplace since successful WSO marketers are teaching WSO newbies how to provide better customer service, avoid frustrating mistakes, deal with charlatan customers, ect.

Saying it's uncool is like getting upset about sending traffic to a website selling a product about learning how to get traffic to a website (ie. the offer in your sig). Or selling an eBook on eBay about how to sell more stuff on eBay. Or selling/teaching a course to college professors on how to teach future teachers.

It has nothing to do with dilution and everything to do with improving.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. With the way the economy is there are just going to be more and more buyers coming online to try and make a living, so I doubt that the market will ever be over saturated.

Then there's the fact that many people who buy such WSOs won't take action on them in the first place. And also that many WSOs completely bomb. When people get frustrated over that they tend to quit making them, particularly the method jumpers.

WSOs can be very lucrative. I don't see how it's a sin to teach people how to make money from WSOs. It's the same as sharing any other method.

Completely agree with you! Though finding new markets are necessary in the tough money making niche! These days I am seeing too many WSO's on Offline Businesses and creating WSO's! Probably in the near future we may see WSO's about setting up restaurants in the US from another country through VA's

I have no problem with this except if it means a decrease in the quality of the average WSO. Remember though, a WSO doesn't just have to be a product about how you earnt x amount of dollars in x amount of days... sitting in your underpants at home. I have no problem if those people who buy the guides are then launching WSO's where they offer a great quality service or even a tool such as software, templates, etc.

Whenever I see someone selling a guide about how they made X amount of dollars launching their own WSO's it usually tells me they are a little stuck for ideas for their next product.

What if you are someone who wants to make money online and has no idea where to start? You find a WSO on how to make money selling WSO's which cover all the steps needed to get you up and running making sales within a few days.

We'd all be nowhere if it wasn't for someone giving us the ideas on how to begin in the first place.

I have a suggestion. Next time You are ready to buy anything online or offline, before writing in your credit card numbers just stop and think about it - "What did the seller of this product do, to make me buy it?" There you go, a money making method which works because you are already buying the product.

I think it's only crazy if you expect more than a small percentage of buyers to actually take action on a WSO, regardless of what it's teaching.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable WSO that shows how to create a WSO about creating WSOs.

I don´t have a problem with people selling WSO´s on making WSO´s the number of people that take action let alone pick up the WSO and read it is small. There will always be a massive market of people to sell to online especially in the money making niche

Isn't that what half of the WSO's are doing?

I dont see anything wrong with people selling WSOs about making WSOs. Some people will show you how to launch a very profitable wso.

I have an older WSO on how to make money with WSOs, and I stand behind it 100%. The positive comments and low refund rate (there was only 1, and they paid for it again once their situation improved) speak for themselves.

Now, the main point is to show people how to make money with WSOs, but the system I use can actually be ported to any number of platforms.

Here are just a few of the things I show people:
    • How to select the best topics
    • How to easily get top-notch, original content
    • How to create the product
    • How to sell it
    What's wrong with that?

    Answer: Nothing!

Gee whiz! You mean I'm actually making money by showing people how to select a topic, create a product and sell it? Can anybody give me a legitimate reason why that's not okay?

    All the best,
    Michael

Thanks for bringing up the topic. Hey, I actually thought of buying a WSO about creating successful WSO before, but changed my mind at the last minute.

And sorry but I will have to disagree with your statement, because I don't see anything wrong if it helps fellow warriors to launch a successful WSO. I am sure the marketplace will be a better place for all of us

    Cheers!

I disagree. It's only "incestuous or ponzi schemish" if you're selling a WSO on how to make money by selling WSOs that teach how to make money by selling WSOs (as if selling WSOs on how to sell WSOs that teach how to sell WSOs that teach how to sell WSOs... were the only way to make money).

But selling a WSO on how to maximize ROI on the WSO ad purchase is not "incestuous or ponzi". To me, this is a natural marriage between a "WSO selling skill set" and a product that could be sold via WSO.

With that in mind, if I sold "how to sell WSOs" and someone asked me how I made $, I'd comfortably reply something like "I teach small business-to-business product owners how to maximize the ROI of their advertising dollars".

I see, Wrong#'s premise as faulty.

All of us are sellers and buyers (whether $ is attached or not). And the WSO marketplace isn't so small it features only 1 type of "product".

One warrior is teaching WordPress. Another is selling software for faceBook. Another shows a cool strategy for youTube. etc. etc. etc.

And then there are some who choose to show the WordPress, the faceBook & youTube warriors how to make sure their WSO investment doesn't go to waste.

It only makes sense they promote this training in the WSO forum. They could sell over at eBay, CraigsList etc. But they won't hit their target market as quickly.

    But anyway...
