Megasite vs "One Offer" Site

Hi, All.

Just wanted to know how many of you operate general Megasites(weight lose, insurance, scholarships, etc) with multiple offers vs One Site per offer.

    I believe that it is better to create one page on a specific topic and then monetize that page with several types of offers. adsense at the bottom and affiliate offers at the top or side. You will get paid more if they buy an affiliate product than if they click on adsense links. If you are going to create a mega site, it should still be on a specific topic, with sepret pages for each sub topic. Each page should link to your other pages using the main keyword phrase for that site. for example:

    Say I was going to built a diet site called dietswork.com. I would create a main page with those keywords. Then I would create sup pages with these keyword phrases and link them to the main website.

    protine diets work
    low carb diets work
    cabbage soup diets work

    The megasites do have their effect when offers are strategically paired to give an overall experience rather than a hard sell of mismatched products.
