Keeping Up with Trends. YouTube marketing.

Hi, All.

I am just realizing the possibilities of Youtube Marketing. (just few seconds late:p) So far, learned two method.

1. use target keywords in video titles/description to drive traffic and hopefully get ranking. In some searches, Videos pop up in the first page.

2. see the trends, and create a video that start with trend topic then ends with your keyword, niche, or URL.

We are going to assume that we can create quality/relevant videos for both methods. Since google in weeding out poor quality videos, that is the only option. Although I do see the difficulty in consistently producing quality/relevant videos with method 2, as you are a slave to the trends. But I guess that depends on your copy-writing skills.

I am by no means claiming to be an expert. like I said, I just learned it. So any tips, guidance or introduction entirely different methods are always appreciated.

Thank you.

You could use youtube videos to help market CPA offers as well. Put your link in the description of the video and hopefully your niche targeted audience will find it easily when searching google for websites and see your video link.

You could also use your videos to build your social networking such as google+ or twitter. Video viewers are more responsive to that sort of thing than just plain links..

        3. ping, tag, bookmark your video right after it is live..

I have PR5 YouTube channel and make good money just off YouTube, as well as other product.. Don't take this advise lightly, it works 100% of the time..

        Best of luck...

Awesome tips. I also just learned that having properly tagging will get my other videos in the "suggestion" column on the right. Cool. Thank you.

Thank you for the tip. Only thing I am concerned about is that I'm focusing on email zip offers and I don't have many ideas for creating quality video for those. (I'm serious. if you know anyone who has won a gift card, or ipad let me know. I would like to include that in my landing pages.) Perhaps I should move towards short from lead offers. I find those a bit easier to write articles for, so it might not be a bad idea.
        Thank you again.

Good point. I'm not getting much conversion through twitter. I'm just not sophisticated at it yet. The best example I know of mixing twitter and youtube together is the "old spice guy". They're doing a "old spice guy" vs fabio series right now. (old spice guy wins hands down) Fabio is horrible to watch. (he never could act)
        Thank you for your comment.

I agree with George, and would just add that you can buy views and likes on fiver that will help boost your rank in the youtube and search results.
