How to change host?Any recomendations?

I've had such a bad time lately with my website host- streamline.net. It keeps going down for days at a time and it's losing me money.Can anyone suggest a good alternative?

Also, is there any way of downloading the whole site other than via ftp. I started doing it and i think it would take a couple of years. My fault- I changed computers and lost a lot of the files I uploaded to website.

  Are you using cPanel? Then its a easy transfer from 1 cpanel host to another. Most hosting companies including my own offer free transfers and handle the whole process. This also might be a route for you. I know Hostgator and Liquidweb offer it as well.

Yeah, Hostgator is a great alternative and it's offering free transfers. But you have to qualify for it. Send them an email to and ask them if they can do it for you.
