Anyone willing to teach me?

[Edit: Since the original thread was a tad off...]

I don't have a job, I've tried different methods of internet marketing on and off for 3 years and nothing has come out of it. I'm just trying to make some cash to pay for school, bills and debt but I haven't found any methods that work.

I'm want to learn how to do Internet Marketing Properly, would anyone be willing to help me out?

    Have you tried outsourcing a nice LP and doing PPC on Facebook?
    Or creating a nice content site and adding CPA offers.

    Who's "you guys"? I didn't even know "we" were competing. Listen. Methods don't work. They never have and never will. People work. If you haven't made money, it's not a lack of knowledge... This forum is overflowing with it and you've been at it for three years. So where's the problem? You just have not focused on one project. If you truly desired to make money, you'd simply write a series of 10 articles on a worthy niche and sell it as a WSO for a few bucks. You'd make a few hundred, and you'd build a list. There are a thousand other things you can do. Stop blaming others and just DO it.

      It is lack of information that stops people from making the money .

      People don't make money because they are too busy being distracted everything else that won't make them money

      If you are doing writing articles, don't buy product on media buys no matter how much they say made . You are focused on offering your article writing services and you are going to see it through till you make money

      how about just doing 10 writing articles for warriors and seeing some $$$$ and testimonials come the Warriors for Hire Section

        I've laid down a plan for him and given him all the tools he needs
        to get off the ground.

        If you can focus on this one thing and avoid all the other distractions and "shiny things", put in the hours and follow the plan there no reason why you can't start to see success.

        I'm sure these guys will be happy to get some updates on how you do and I am keen to see you with your first Google page 1 site.

    Stop doing what you are doing. Don't touch IM for at least a month. In that time frame go to your library and pick up a copy of Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Read, absorb, write down a gameplan and go for it. Only you can make yourself a success.

    well, i guess the only person that is against you is you yourself alone. if you give up, then that's the case, yourself is your own enemy.

    What are the things you did that make you think you've done everything and still there's no improvement? you believe you've given your greatest potential?

    think think first. you shouldn't give up, after all when you look back and see yourself, you'll realize that you've gone so far, and that way you'll realize too that you shouldn't really give up at all but to go on.

      You need to read the answers again. Maybe now you will see the wisdom in the advice given by Andy Henry, ExRat and several other people.

      From what you've posted you may work hard - but you don't work reliably. You start, push hard, give up and stop. A few months later you try again. Build one good site - learn how to do the research and focus the site before you build it. Work on it consistently and you might surprise yourself. You are keeping yourself at "newbie" status because you are starting over so many times. Learn first - then do.

        Sometimes we are our own biggest problem. Infomation overload is so easy to suffer from. You must have a goal and most important you must TAKE ACTION. Take some time off and start fresh. Stop thinking that it will happen overnight because that is not true.

    I think the problem is probably confusion(information overload). You're probably not concious when you read the material. I notice this has happened to me when I have, so, much information at my disposal. I may ask about something I have the answer to right in my home. However, I simply forgot about it because I have piles of information.

    Anyways, I hope you find your path, whether you want to master writing, or, programming.

    No easy answer. What are you wanting to get? What are you not getting? How are you going to get it? You are the only person who knows what it is that you want and you are the person who decides if you will get it (in spite of ...). Not sure if this is much of a help but maybe take some time off to clear your head and than come back with fresh eyes and renewed will/determination to make it work?

    As he says, the main thing with IM is the consistent work you have to put in. It takes time to get going, but when you start to pull in a return on your work it really is well worth it (IMHO!)

    Hi,

    As I wrote in a recent thread stick to affiliate marketing for the time being, don't go for this months most fashionable method don't bother with adsense.

    Learn (search on the forum and in Google/wso's):

    Niche research (including how to spot which niches buy) -> product research -> Keyword research -> competition research (recommend Market Samurai) -Basic copywriting -> how to build and host a simple wordpress self hosted site -> internal seo research -> Newsletter research (how to build one ect)-> build yoursite (make it at least 15 pages) -> external seo research (backlinks - articles, blog commenting, press releases) - testing (looking at your tracking account).

    Each step is important, it seems like a lot but there's quite a bit of cross over between the steps.

    With that your need at least $10 for a domain, $54 for hosting, $15 a month fo Aweber (an autoresponder) and you can try Market Samurai for free. Plus around $50 to kick start your backlinking.

    That also presuming that you make your website yourself.

    Reading all the posts on how people have earned money online makes people think that money can be earned online by doing nothing all. That it would be very very easy. However, it is not like that. First you acquire knowledge and then you apply that for your online business. You struggle, but you do not quit. Then gradually you start to earn. A lot of time and energy needs to be invested in your online business for success.

      You are of course right it does take hard work and usually a lot of time to gain all the skills and experience needed to start earning online.

      However there is one very big shortcut you can take and that is to get some good coaching or mentoring (they are two very different things BTW) although they are used here to describe any 1 to 1 training.

      The biggest thing coaching does for you is peel away all the peripheral rubbish, all the stuff you don't need. Keeps you focused on what you do and what you need to do. This is one of the biggest challenges for people at all levels.

      Of course it should give you ongoing guidance and support. It helps considerably if it sets sensible goals.

    I think you should take some time off and really do some research. Educate yourself on IM and decide if you really want to make a career out of this. If you do you need to realize that its going to take dedication and patience. You need to decide that its not a hobby anymore but a career that requires time.
