Guys, I have a problem.

I've spent upwards of about $500 on WSO's here...I just recently purchased one that I'm putting into action right now, and it's actually working. For the first time ever I can see progress. I would easily rate it the best WSO on WF for newbies if there was a vote poll on here. The problem is, even though I'm in the process of making this successful, I still find myself coming back to the WSO section.. I feel like I'm always looking for something new.. Even if the bank vault is busted wide open, right in front of my face..I'm still in the WSO section. lol Has anybody else ever had this problem?

P.s. After I purchased this last WSO every time I go into the WSO section, I don't actually buy anything...but I'm just afraid that one day I'm going to come across the most eye catching headline and click the buy button. That would throw me soo far off of the track and put me back at square one.

I think that there should be an option on the WF as to where you can choose to 'hide' the WSO section.

This thread is for entertainment purposes but in no way shape or form is the information above false or made up. It's also partly me asking for advice. Hahaha

This is a very common problem and one I struggle with. Focus. It is so easy to get distracted by the latest thing or just the sheer number of ideas buzzing around in your head. If you take on too much at a time though you end up spreading your efforts thin and the quality of your work and their results can suffer.

I've yet to find a trick to it, we all have our distractions whether it's WSO's, forum lurking or checking your affiliate/web stats every five minutes for real-time updates. You just have to try to hone your focus and remind yourself that it will be worth it in the long run.

Glad you have found something that is working for you. Keep plugging at it!

Thanks william! I plan on it.. That's what I've been trying to do, I've been trying to imagine how this is going to turn out in 2 weeks, or a month, or a year, and so on.. That kind of helps to keep me focused on what I need to be doing to make it happen

Can you tell me the wso that you put into practice and works?
If you're so stuck to this section, with all the money you spent means you remained with some data. Build yourself a WSO to earn money.

Buy a WSO with an emphasis on copywriting.

Learn the techniques that are being used to manipulate you into buying stuff so you can see them with a level head.

Some what but not really. Most of the WSO's that I have bought are just based off of theories and weren't really tested and proven. Some were proven but take a lot more time than I have in order to make money.

Also, the WSO doesn't "work" just yet. I just started it yesterday but I'm progressing so fast that I'm almost 100% sure that there's no way this can fail for me.

Close WF for a week and see if you get better results. Remember that time management is probably one of the biggest deciding factors in your success. Manage your time effectively and you will see better results.

I've also thought about this myself, but for some reason, every time I'm doing something related to IM, WF always finds a way to pop up on my computer! lol Sometimes it drives me crazy when I think about how different it would be if every second that I spent on WF going through useless WSO's, would have instead been spent on advertising and taking action.

When I look at my join date, It's pathetic to me that I've yet to make more than $30 online. It's also pathetic how long it took me to get out of information overload and start taking action..

You should make a plan and stay with it.
It is all a question of management and dicipline.
So define goals you want to reach and plan the weeks till then. In this plan you can set an hour or so, where you allow yourself to visit WF. After that hour close WF for a week again.

If you found something that works, stay with it, work on this one with all heart and when you reach your main goal, then you can start searching for a new one.

I know this is difficult and most important: Write down your timeplan. I also have my timeplan next to me and work straight with it.

        Hope this helps. Greetings Bettina

Wow. That's crazy! Lol I just made the same exact suggestion for myself at the same time that you did! Great mind think alike..

I agree, and the easiest way to do this is to get a coach, someone who you can be accountable to. Its amazing how much progress you can make when you know that you are accountable to someone, it's been one of the best things I did as I was just mentioning in another post, and I would really recommend it to everyone else especially in IM where its just too easy to get distracted from what you are doing to go and check out the next shiny object, we always think we need something else...

I can't tell you how many ebooks and guides I have on my computer, and like most people I suffered from information overload and then did nothing.
There are so many ways to make money, but how many of them do we actually follow through on from start to finish? I know I didn't.

So rather than buy any more ebooks or courses, I invested in a coach, created a plan and progessed further faster. Its easier to make progress when you take the accountability seriously.

Welcome to the club. I have a hard time staying focused and always looking for something. Never sure what it is though. There is so much enticing stuff in the WSO forum that it is best to stay out of there.

Then you see a sig link that looks enticing, or the banner at the top of each page is calling to you, it is hard to stay out of there.

Edit your host file... lol... but seriously man, you've just got to learn how to manage it.

Eben Pagan had a good way of teaching this and it helped me (paraphrased of course):
Instead of opening up your email or forum site first thing when you sit down at the computer, get everything done that will make you money first. Make a list of your tasks from most important to least. Email should be least important as long as you're not getting emails from people wanting to buy a product/service of yours (products and opportunities are not important).

If you do this for at least 3-4 weeks, your brain will start working differently. You will start seeing a direct connection between what makes money and what doesn't. Try it out.

That would be kind of hard for me to do overnight. I'll definitely keep that in mind and try to start managing time, I was thinking, I can make a time chart. Ex. Forum - 1 hour hour Social Networks - 1 hour Managing List - 30 min. hour Advertising - 2 hours Promoting - 1 hours

That way it will make me choose when I want to get on forums, and make me spend my time wisely on what I do on here since I know I only have an hour. Note: that was just an example

  • I saw someone's signature as "WSO addict" - that would probably best describe you and I'm sure a lot of others here - the promise or thought of easy quick cash is hard to fight against - I would agree with the other poster here who said don't even open up WF for a week and see what happens - you must use your will power in this case, no matter how hard it is! Good Luck and focus, focus, focus!
