Is a Decent Income Possible?

People earn a lot of money online, plenty do it as a full time job, so it is definitely possible. There are several ways to get that type of income, most importantly though, you need to brand yourself. Make your own website, particularly with your name, take that website and offer products that truly do give your customers value. With those proven customers build a list, with the list give them valuable information and sometimes offer them another product.

Bam that's a fool proof way to make a living off IM.

I earn pretty good from IM but I ask the question to see what is possible. We all dream of earning a fortune......and for most that means $10k + a month.

It seems to me how best is to align things you enjoy with needs of people. So you have to start with examining yourself - what you enjoy, what you are good at, what you'd like to learn - and then find out a target audience, a buying audience you can help. It always gets back to solving problems, having solutions.

Of course it is possible. The key is to find something that will make you a decent amount of money and run with it.. Don't give up.. improve.. repeat.

There are many different ways to make those figures in IM. Several avenues you could take to get there too.

but the point I am making is that most people never get close....why is that? I suspect that most people want an instant solution (no change there then) This is about making enough money to live comfortably ......without "pay by the hour"

Yes a decent income is more than possible online!
The most important step is taking action. If you get the no work mentality in your head then you will find it very hard to make money. If you work hard and work to build automation and passive income in your business you will succeed.

Well, according to your sig you already make $100 an hour from article writing. So assuming you work 160 hours a month, you're already making $16k a month

It is possible. You can earn around $1000- $3000 a month; you just have to work hard for it. In fact, others are earning more than what you have stated 5 - 6 digits of earnings are possible if you could just set your mind to it. And like fellow warriors have already stated, it requires work plus your time to it. It may not be automatic that you will be earning those amounts yet, but it's a start. Learn the basics and eventually, you will get the hang of it. Patience and hard work are just a few of the ingredients for success.

Whatever you decide is possible is possible.

It's definitely possible, definitely doable! With the right mindset, the right strategy and the right product/service that adds value to your chosen niche.

Heck, there are companies out there with dozens of employees who have IM as their main business, and they make millions every year.
My husband used to work for one of those companies before we set off to start our own IM adventure. That company had several affiliate websites aimed at different countries. My husband was managing their US website and that website was making between $80,000 and $120,000 a month - 90% affiliate revenue, 5% ad sense revenue and another 5% from selling ad space on the website. You can do the math for the annual revenue!
And that was just one of many websites the company owned!

While most individual/sole prop companies probably won't be able to reach such a high level of revenues (if for no other reason, for lack of capacity), there are individual or very small ventures out there that still make eye-watering high amounts.

All that said, even a decent income is not going to happen quickly or automatically - your success will probably build up gradually and slowly, but it will all add up in the end and will take you where you want to be, as long as you are doing the right things.

Asking yourself "How can I make 3k/month from IM?" is the wrong question.

Ask yourself "How can I teach someone else to make 3k/month from IM?" instead.

When you arrive at the answer to the 2nd question the first one will become irrelevant. At this point you will no longer be chasing the money, the money will be chasing you.

The question is best answered in the same way Edison figured out the light bulb. Experimentation, relentless trial and error. Take action review outcomes make adjustments and restart the cycle. Bad outcomes are feedback and should be treated as progress not failures. The only way you can fail is if you cease experimentation.

Well if you are making over $100 an hour from writing then with an 8 hour work day - 5 days a week you are making $4000 a week right?

If you ARE making that amount of money no doubt you can "see" it is possible.

Seriously if you aren't though - there is more than enough information right here - just use the search button at the top and type in "Article Writing", "Google Adwords" or anything that you want to give a go and read...most of all implement and take action and you will get results!

I am new here and in this post I see many warrior's are using a word IM, Sorry but what this is word stand for.

As per my experience one can really make good money from writing work as one can make about $1 for 100 word article I thinks writers are really have some good luck these days.

The point I was trying to make.......I can make good money by exchanging time for money .....$100 an hour by article writing is one example. BUT .....my question was how to work once and then earn each time from that same amount of work.

(Although some interesting "digs" guys!)

Yup its possible there were allot of ways which can be used to earn some reasonable income over the internet. I am using outsourcing sites and earning good income from there.

Yes, it is! I've seen it done quite a few times by a few guys in my hometown - that's why I got started in the first place, hopefully it all pans out!

i've sold a product that is $800 profit.... push a couple of those instead of a .50 cent amazon commission.

Absolutely its possible but I recommend start doing what you love in regards to making money online, otherwise it'll just be another job doing something that you don't love.

Focus on what your passionate about, and the money won't be far behind it.
