Is there a market for how to create video infoproducts?

There's a big market for infopreneurs. What I want to know is whether there is a market for people who would like to know easy and effective ways to create their own infoproducts. Particularly videos.

All coments greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How are they going to make money if they can't produce
a product or don't know how to start?

I thinking of making it easy for people. Most of us want done for us solutions.

How about a fill in the blanks template to allow a video product to be made in minutes instead of days, weeks, or months.

Diane - I have to say I'm having trouble understanding your point

The OP didn't mention anything about people in debt - not all infopreneurs are in debt.

If you are a budding internet marketer and you wanted to create your own product & saw the OP's product you certainly wouldn't say what the heck? I doubt you'd think it was a waste of time if this is something that interests you.

My understanding of the OP post is to create a product that gives "easy and effective ways to create their own infoproducts. Particularly videos."

I see it as a way to ask for more money from the customer... because they are willing to may more for the video. I am not the only one that see this... so make your product.

    Thanks for all your encouragement.

Can anyone suggest a good WSO thread title and/or sig wording for this type of product.

    Thanks in advance, Ian Stables

There is certainly a market for this type of product. There must be thousands of people who have bought or downloaded software for making video(or even have windows movie maker) but don't know how to use it. If someone is a good teacher and can explain things to non-techies there will be a demand for that product.

I would say absolutely use. Video has more use than just for make-money-online. A good eproduct that teaches all about the latest technology would be very popular.

I will say that it needs to do a LOT more than just talk about how to use Camtasia. A lot of people around here think that it is the alpha and omega of video. It's nice but a good training product needs to go into all the details of chroma key, importing different formats, aspect ratios, codecs, framerates, and editing.

I use a much simpler to use free program. In my opinion it gives you all the results you want for your purposes in internet marketing.

You were asking whether or not we thought there would be a market for a video training program. At this point, I'd say it depends on the topic and the amount of depth you plan to cover. Since you don't plan to cover the technical topics (chroma key, codecs, framerate, etc.) my wild guess would be probably not. It might be a nice little freebee though. Maybe a good bonus for something more in-depth.

Certainly, but I plan to show that when in the finished video product.

Sorry, but you'll have to buy to find out. However, this is just a minor detail that you'll find out from this mini-course.

I remember the day that I purchased a WSO that claims to have a top secret tool to explode the traffic and that secret was "Yahoo Answers". Pathetic enough for an instant refund request.

The name of the tool can't be a secret, imho. Requesting money for the name of the tool shows how an helpful warrior you are.

Tell the name here and sell how to use it effectively for IM purposes & technical details.

I also say "Yes." There is a 100% video based info product out right now that is a top selling product on CB that has over 500 people selling it (even though it's crap). He's selling it as a membership @ $97/mo. It's in the 'make money online' niche. All this guy did was take crappy PLR stuff & make vids out of it. Lots of people want to learn by video & like someone else said, they'll pay more for it. Just write a great sales letter about why video products make more money. After all, everybody's in it to make money - no matter what niche they're in.

I would agree that there is definitely a market for this type of a product. There are always hundreds if not thousands of people who have bought video editing software, and need a guide on how to do it properly the first time around. If you can provide a great guide that is easy to access for new users that is laid out is a step by step format there will surely be great demand for a product like that.

I would say yes. WHen you look around you see videos everywhere. Youtube (so I have been Told, I dont know this to be a fact) is the #2 search engine. Videos get peoples point across so much faster and clearer than any article ever could. I would hope there is a niche for video sales (how-to's or services) because, if you look at my blog, or my wso, you'll see I am in that niche too. So I say keep getting the word out there that you can teach people how to make better videos. Best of luck.

      Cheers!

What I've learned over the past 5 years is that marketing can sell anything.

People buy the story... the hype... the message... the promise... not necessarily the product.

With all the big time gurus talking about videos and using videos in their launches it's definitely a good time to offer any video related product/service.

A few years ago, there was a videographer in the UK who made VHS videos of how to make "how-to" videos and sold them for peanuts. A mentor of mine suggested that he put on a seminar and to price it "appropriately". He was reluctant to charge more than £97, but my mentor encouraged him to test varying amounts starting at £697. The top performing price point was IN EXCESS of £2000 (and he sold many hundreds of seats!)

This guy took in over £1million for a weekend seminar.....

Clearly, there's a market for how to make "how-to" videos..!

I say go for it. Obviously there is a demand, judging by the number of people reading and responding to this post. In fact, if you are willing to make quality info videos for people you can make a nice living on that alone. There a tons of affiliate marketers who do not want to do it themselves and would pay for that service.

I made a video course last week about how to create your own video products. . . My testers loved it. I plan on giving it away for free in my product launch. It is an easy to understand course, nothing techie, It does the job nicely.

VIDEO IS HOT. It is the next wave. . . Soon, all sites will be video based. Even my simple squeeze page has a video on it. . . VERY IMPORTANT.

Try making a course that uses a popular editor. . . I use Pinnacle, and it works great. Lots of features. Throw in some green screen techniques, how to do lighting etc... how to edit, compression techniques, and you will have a hot one. . .

    GOOD LUCK

Video marketing works GREAT if applied in MASS.

With only a few videos it's hard to hit jackpot (unless you are a mavel) but with big numbers you'll get floods of targetted traffic.

I definitely think there is a market for it, so many people have little youtube videos up that are of such low quality you can hardly watch it, even if there was some practical (without all the tech stuff) and simple hints and tips people can apply to their next video would help.
