Wordpress changes and the best contact form?

Been a loong while since I've used a blog! I'm just setting one up now and I plan to be active. Things seemed to have changed a lot in the wordpress world. For the better I must say! Man, I taught myself html and have been doing it all this time, and for what?

Just wondering what the best contact form is for wordpress these days? I think I used to use Contact Form 7 in the past - but can't really remember. Also - what's this Jetpack thing all over my dashboard? doesn't look like it's worth installing to me. Is it?

I use the Clean-Contact wp plugin and it works fine for me.

Another vote for clean contact here.

Just install and active the plug-in. Add a new page and out [clean-contact] on
    that page and you're done.

Yeah - Jetpack looked a little queer to me. Doesn't seem to do anything I couldn't do. I guess it makes Analytics easier for newbies though with wordpress stats already in it but still.

Thanks Marketing Merit and rapidscc - I'll take a look at Clean Contact.

Wordpress really is awesome. There is a plugin called Cforms that has a lot of customization built into it that I used to develop a really interactive form once. It has a little bit of a learning curve, but is pretty flexible.

And FYI - wordpress is going to KEEP changing on you every couple of months ;-)

      He, yea...

Just had about 12 months of no blogging and only building static niche sites. Now I'm starting fresh.. Wordpress will always change, but after giving it a miss for a year the change was bigger than expected!

Nothing complicated - I was actually impressed!
