When is the best day and time to launch a product?

I'm working with a couple of clients on their launches and I want to hear if you have a preferred day and time to launch?

Tuesday or thursday mid mornings come to mind as that's typically the best time to send a broadcast fax, for example.

What do you think?

    Who are you sending it to? Press release? Tues-Thurs around 6-7AM. WSO? I suppose whenever the most traffic is on the WSO section, which is generally around 4800 people.

    YESTERDAY!!!

    Yes this is true! No time or am or pm... get to ass to work and lauch your product. Just do it..... you can add, or make it better as time goes on. Just get something going. Seriously, what have you got to lose! :-)

    This question I feel is a bit more complicated than just day/time. There are many factors to a successful fast launch. Who is your market? If it's Americans, you need to look into consumer behavior during times of year and month. Many people get paid on a bi-weekly basis and are more likely to spend money during the middle of the month (End of month is when most people have bills - Less likely to spend). My personal niche has greater success during the middle of the month, but this can all depend on the demographic of your product.

    It really depends on the niche.. for example, apparently more stuff is bought on Ebay on Sunday evenings because people have more free time to waste.
