Integrating ClickBank With Joomla Membership Site?

Hi,

For my upcoming product, i'm creating a one-time fee paid membership website. The basic website structure is already created with Joomla 1.5.

So I would like the process to be as follows:

Sales Page -> Clickbank Order -> Creates User Login For Membership Website -> Membership Website

Are there any tools/extensions/plugins out there which can do this straight from ClickBank?

Alternatively, does anyone have any ideas which will enable the registration for paid users only?

Thanks in advance

- James.

What I use is amember + click bank with Joomla or wordpress in the background.

AEC from www.globalnerd.org may help. They haven't had a stable version in a long time - instead of getting an updated stable they keep adding new features and it stays broken but with new features. I hear the new stable is about to come out though and it does offer Clickbank support.

I built quite a few membership sites using joomla platform. I always use AEC from globalnerd and never really have a big problem with. The only problem with AEC was that this plugin doesn't work well with internet explorer and windows vista. When I setup my payment plans or any other things with AEC I simply switch to Firefox where everything works great.

    Hi,

Just to give you an update, their is a very stable dev version that uses ClickBank and works great. I am using it on a few sites and one of my upcoming sites which will be my new primary site.

The support staff at GlobalNerd are great and it is a very seemless integration unlike AMember and works with Community Builder and other login methods.

There was another thread of how people are very happy with member.wpwishlist.com

I personally haven't used it...but there is a thread with some happy people who talk it up.

I need to do something similar, I'm developing a joomla 1.5 membership site which has tools (you get access to them when you sign up).

          I'm going to use clickbank affilliates to sell membership to my site and need a way for a client to go from;

clickbank pitchpage -> clickbank thankyou page -> Registration in joomla as "registered"

I have done this a bit differently, anyway, my point was that I've tried using AEC for this, and it was so unstable (the current dev release, which seems to be all they are releasing) that it was unusable.

Has anyone used a current dev of AEC (Joomla! 1.5.x) with any success? If so, what dev release version? What joomla version?

I tried everything to get the new dev version of AEC working, it just doesn't.

It's a real shame because I've used it before (as a stable version) and it worked great. It doesn't work at all now though. It won't approve plans at all, it doesn't accept the paypal IPN (which returns an error every time a subscription renews) and as such it adds people to the "manual subscription" group.

This means I would have to add them manually to a payment plan, which wouldn't usually be a problem, except in the dev version they currently have out, I can't even assign people to a plan because that doesn't work either!

Just to let you know guys, we are working on this. The native joomla membership component is ready and clickbank integration will be ready soon.

So, there will be no hacks at all. Everything Joomla 1.5 native and can be easily upgraded.

    Hi there..
    Im looking for something similar.
Has anyone done Joomla + CLickbank ??

Sales Page > User Enters his name and email, adds to cart or clicks on BUY NOW > Reaches the CLickBank Secure Order Form > Enters the Credit Card info or pays via paypal > Then the confirmation page shows the username and password for the access to the Joomla website (the password is created randomly and the username stays as email or whatever.).

    Thats all,I need...
Is this possible or I have to look for other solutions?

    Plz let me know...
I also know a Live site.
