Do you follow news stations on Twitter?
I have signed up to follow a few national news stations and also my local ones on Twitter.
I really don't watch the news, so getting short bits o' info from the news outlets keeps me up to date without getting too bogged down in hours of TV watching.
It also has come in handy - local stations will report major accidents and/or traffic issues, so I can call Hubby and warn him to take an alternate route home.
Not only that, but I have gained local followers from following the local stations.
Finally, the person doing the Twittering for the local stations will answer tweets, so it is a good way to build up a rapport with the local media.
