[Adult Site Webmasters] Where Do You Find Them?

Hi there

I have a high converting dating product for men and am interested in promoting them through adult sites.

The problem is that most of them are linked up with big advertising agencies and the rates are very high.

My product converts at 2% and it pays at $47. So I'm sure most webmasters who have it on their site will make MORE money promoting my product than their current porno/adult offers.

My problem is, where do I find them?

I tried reaching out to contact webmasters individually, but most of them turned me down as they already use big advertising networks to manage their advertising.

So where do I find those struggling webmasters in the Adult niche?

Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't be so quick to jump the gun. I've only had my first adult site up for about a month now and I'm already getting sales! At $35 a pop per trial sign up no less. Yes you read that right. TRIAL sign up.

Oh and on top of that, my site visitors aren't looking to date anyone. They are looking for porn. If you feel you can really convert to this audience then take the chance on some media buying with a large tube site.

Google gfy and click on the GFY webmaster board...

What kind of dating product do you have? Is it something revolutionary/new?

If your scouting affiliates on gfy, make sure your program is top notch. The won't hesitate to tell you to shove it or laugh if it's not. Adult companies shell out a ton of money to affiliates. $35+ per sign up payouts for just $1 trials is the norm. Your affiliate payouts has to be somewhat competitive...

Try and use ccbill as your payment processor, it's the equivalent of clickbank for the adult world... it's a billing/affiliate management company they trust.

I'm not really sure if these guys are active anymore but they control advertisement for some of the biggest adult tgp sites on the internet Redirect

If your looking to advertise on the major tube sites be prepared to shell out some $$

    Hi thanks for your responses.

I'm sure there are ALOT Of sites out there with webmasters who don't know how to get good CPA offers.

I was looking at Juicyads.com and I see advertising spaces for $300 a month for a site with decent traffic for a 250 x 250 banner ad.

So that has got to tell you something about their conversion rates. Otherwise, why would they be happy to get $300 for that space if they make more money?

Also, just adding to this, my product is a $1 trial as well, with 75% commission for a $47.00 product.

That's pretty competitive, it converts at 1 in 50.

Like I said in my first post, people who are on a porn site are looking for porn. They aren't looking to date anyone. Obviously there are some exceptions to the rule, but if your confident that you'll get a 2% conversion at $57 a pop why wouldn't you pay the $300/month for a 250x250 banner ad?

On a decent traffic site, that's what, at least 100,000 uniques? 2% of that would be 2000 conversions. At $57 that's an amazing ROI....

EDIT: I meant $47, not sure where I got this $57 number from lol.

Lol, I remember juicyads, I'm getting old. All the low ball sites use them.

Adult webmasters are smart man, In my opinion much more knowledgeable then mainstream webmasters. I really never seen a mainstream webmaster transition into adult successfully but know a lot of adult webmasters that tear it up in the mainstream world.

You'll be hard pressed to find an adult webmaster willing to use cpa other than adult dating and cams. Big companies are paying top dollar for leads etc so it would be hard to compete with payouts.

The reason why the ads are so cheap is b/c you'll get horrible ratios like 1:5000, probably even worse nowadays. Scare you away yet?

It's really hard to convert anything in the adult market especially after tubes took over. The only thing that really converts is dating sites, cams, enhancement products and niched sites.

It looks like your going into it with a mainstream mindset, the adult world is a whole different beast.

Good luck with your stuff though, let me know if you have any questions.

People who go to porn sites are not going to really be interested in Ads for paid porn sites unless the advertised site is for a very specific niche which isn't widely available. The reason? B/c 90% off of these hubs have turned from tgp/mgp's to full blown Tubes. They have 5min-1hour long videos absolutely free to view.

Go to any major tube site and you will hard pressed to find any ads other than dating/cams/enhancement products.

Paid sites just don't convert anymore, it's a dieing breed.

I can understand that on a top marketing level. However, take the concept of "low hanging fruit" from the mainstream world and combine it with basic SEO and you can make money.

It's kind of odd actually. I bought a program on July 5th to point me in the right direction. Building niche sites is what was being taught. Regardless, I'm now on page one and I'm getting sales. Ratio is currently 2:700 for a new offer I've started promoting.

At 100 uniques a day I'm looking at 2 sales every 7 days. At $35 a pop if things stay stable I'll make roughly $280 plus this month. And that's a site that is less than two months old. For a $1 TRIAL? Are you freaking serious? Who pays that much for a $1 trial in mainstream niches and hasn't had the FTC beating down their door?

Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Some of these keywords are have so low of competition that I sometimes triple check my research. It's like the adult webmasters have all but abandoned SEO, especially for the low hanging fruit.

Sure I won't become a millionaire, but you if take that small success and multiply it, you can easily make a solid income. I launched my second site a week later. It is still dancing, but recently landed on page two with DIRECTORY backlinks.

I couldn't tell you the last time I ranked a site for a keyword with 10k+ EXACT match searches that close to page one with solely DIRECTORY links.

Niche is where it's at if your doing adult. You just have to promote something that's not widely available on tubes if you wanna generate the cash... but it's really closing in as the tubes get bigger, you'll start to see more niches being added to these networks everyday.

The Adult industry just fell to shambles, no one has any regards to copyright material anymore and the big production companies aren't really doing anything to stop it.

Ya, the payouts are crazy... I remember the days where it was up to $75 per trial, In the mid/late 90's You could throw up a banner farm and bank $30k a month. Sad to see those days long gone.

The billing, cross-sell, affiliate management systems these guys have are ridiculous... 100 years ahead of mainstream, They really know how to squeeze money out of the consumers.

You should check out the cuckold niche, relatively small competition and it's easy to incorporate both paysite and cuckold niched dating sites.

There is a lot of SEO guys in the adult world but everyone is just so fixated on tubes and traffic trading that a lot of people look over it. If it's working for you then bank on it as much as you can while you can. I'm not sure how long it's going to last but I wouldn't build my whole income source around it. Too many adult webmasters are dropping out the game and moving to more profitable sources.

Look up the guy "wiredguy" on the gfy forums, He's the adult SEO guy... I learned quite a bit from him and check out Rick Schwartz, I learned a lot from him too. A lot of people don't even know he was in adult and just know him for being a Domain guy. I remember when he bought Men.com and bombed it when he developed it lol.

Interesting discussion guys. But I have a friend who teamed up with an adult webmaster and his sales increased 3 fold. He also has a dating product teaching dudes how to meet and seduce women. He gets 150 optins a day now.

So that's why I'm interested in looking at this.

Regarding why I do not want to pay for advertising, it's simple. If I can get it for free, why not?

My friend teamed up with a guy and paid him 75% commission on the sales, so he got what he needed.

So I know there are adult webmasters out there interested, I just have to find them.

Dating is one of the most competitive marketing verticals around. A 2% conversion rate is a bit low for dating first off. In order to get any traction with affiliates you'll need to shell out at least $50.00 per sale.

Purchasing traffic is just not going to work out for you at this point. You need a higher conversion rate and must be willing to work on a much higher CPA to compete. Most affiliates work with CPA networks, you'll need to pay $4 to $8 per lead for that traffic.

Buying PPC is even more competitive.
