WF Banner- How much traffic should I expect?

Hello Warriors,
This question goes to warriors that have at one time or the order used the warrior forum banner at the top of every page.

How much traffic should I expect if I pay for a slot?

Also can you please share one or two tips to consider while setting up the campaign?

With a good product/service promoted through WSO and advertised through the banner, how much volume should I be looking to do?

Thanks
Tim

I've never done the top banner but I've done several WSO's. If you have a good product and sales page, you should certainly make your money back for the initial cost and hopefully a profit. Many, many thousands of people are seeing it through the day. At most times around 8K (or so) people are on the forum.

It all depends on what you are marketing. If you have a general tool or strategy that anyone can use, and it really is useful and helpful, I'd think the spot would do great.

Between 0-250 unique clicks per day. The average is 100-190 unique clicks with a good banner/copy. The amount also depends on which day you run the banner. Here are the stats for a banner that is currently running today.

The hard part is actually getting the banner.

I got about 262 clicks. I used bit.ly to track it.

It was more of an experiment - I created it in about 10 mins and uploaded it, just to see what would happen.

As the result, I got $27 back but the lesson was priceless. I knew the banner would attract the wrong crowd (wrong headline). Next time, I will engineer such an experiment towards a more profitable end.
