DataFeeds make me confused..

I just got my datafeed from CJ in an XML format and don't
really know how to use it..

From what I understood about datafeeds is that it's the product DB
of the merchant and I can use it somehow to make my dynamic product
pages quickly..

CJ refuses to give info to me about how to use datafeeds, but I think I need
to get a program to create my dynamic pages from the XML datafeed file..

Anyways, anyone here knows a program which does this thing?
I need the flexibility to easely browse through the product pages, and the
option to edit certain areas(description, image, etc.) before It creates the page.
I also need to be able to choose from thousands of products which ones I
want in and which not cause my site is going to be quite selective about products.

I'd appreciate any responses.

Thanks in advance,
~tony

    Hey Tony,

Here's what I use: SimplePie: Super-fast, easy-to-use, RSS and Atom feed parsing in PHP.

I've also used Magpie RSS - PHP RSS Parser but simplepie is, well, simpler!

I've used several programs for this in the past, there are tons.

A quick search on google shows the top 2 results as:

Affiliate Data Feed Generator, Turn Affiliate DataFeeds Into RSS Feeds Instantly

    and

    ClickBank Feed Generator

just have a look around and take your pick.

I've seen bigger systems promoted which incur a monthly usage fee, but with preferential arrangements made with merchants if they have the right products for your niche, they may be right for you. These includes services like traffic genesis.

Isn't product DataFeeds and RSS Feeds are 2 different things?
Sorry for question but It's going to be my 1st database-driven site
so I dont know much about it yet.

I forgot to add that I need a clean code generator, meaning, nothing else but
the product info sould be in my page code. I don't want to manually clean
the code from junk that the programs' author added into my page to promote
    his site or something.

I want to be able to tell the program where I wan't each element of the DataFeed
to be combining with my site's templateand tell it to spin the code and it'll create it.
Tho I'd also like to tell the program which products I want it to create the pages
    for before it creates them.

    Are those above do it?
If not I'd appreciate other programs that I could review, I'm sure there are
plenty of them and at least one should suit my needs xD

yar, but how they create my pages? I saw the video of the 1st product link
and it seems that they spin the pages with very basic designing elements
and layout and I don't see how I could change positions/edit/nitpick my
generated products pages with the above tool, the 2nd one seems to be
working in the same-ish manner. I might be missing something tho...

Aww thx, that 4W WebMerge program looks very promising ^^
Do you know if it adds any foreign code to the pages?(self-promoting kind
    of content that is)
And can I browse through the pages before I create them and choose which
to create and which not? how about editing fileds(before creation), is it possible??

plzplzplz I really need to know ^^

Aii lol so WebMerge creates the pages from the CSV file, not editing(right?)..
So perhaps I should combine it with a CSV file viewer and editor, then save
    and execute with WebMerge??

Cos again, my site is going to be VERY picky about the products that it'll
feature and I'll have alot item picking/description and image editing to do.

Sounds like a good plan, no?

..So does some1 know a CSV file product browser/editor??

    p.s. wut's Tules?? :/

    True, true ^^
    I think I'll give WebMerge a go.
Need to finish some things with my template before I'll start creating my
DB tho. Will return when I'll encounter more problems xP

Anyways, thanks all, I really appreciate all the suggestions

    Cheers,
