Anyone Making Money Using Youtube?

I have read a few threads on this forum about making money on YouTube. I can make my own videos but wondered how people were going about developing a stratgey to make money there?

Do you mass submit?
Submit a few and work on building traffic?
Let them generate traffic themselves?

I would be interested to hear from any warriors out there who make an income online using Youtube. Also if there are any good WSO´s that have a solid stratgey in place anyone could recommned.

    I have in the past but I have stopped and moved onto other things.

    What I did was:

    Made a video pertaining to a product/offer.
    Got SEO work done on it, backlinks etc to raise it high for my targeted keywords for Google.

    Thats it, really. They made me some money but then I went on to other things.

    You can also try buying other people's videos that already get a ton of traffic and putting your links in there. I hear a lot of people do this to great success.

      Do your videos still make money or have you removed them?
      This is the kind of stratagy I was thinking of setting up. Creating some videos, adding a CPA link and then getting some backlinks, SEO, etc. Maybe outsource this.

    I found YouTube a lot easier to make money on - like with any content, it is all about good quality content. If it is good, it will get shared - and you will get viewers.
    I do a lot of reviews of Internet Marketing products - and if I think something is HYPE or BS, I say so - that way you build up trust with your viewers. It makes it more believable when you are recommending a product.
    It is just one of the many sources of income - and I combine this with my blogging.

      Thanks for this. I am looking to add it to my business as an automated stream of income that will bring in some profits without me having to put any on going work into them. If that makes sense. As I am already getting busy with my other online ventures.

      I just started video marketing without boosting my views. I made $150 within 2 weeks of listing a video. There are many good wso's to purchase and follow on video marketing.

      I purchased tubespy and its great, plus it came with a bonus that taught me how to get the video ranked on google.

    4 years ago I started new CB account and planned to experiment with youtube marketing, I started a youtube channel and uploaded 4 videos related to one single niche, putting a link to a related CB product in the description.

    Finding and uploading the content took about 2 hours. I never did anything more, it just wasn't really my type of thing. But 4 years on, I still get between $50-$100 per month from that clickbank account, from those 4 videos.

    Certainly not a strategy I'd want to try and build my income around, and the meagreness of my effort is probably the only reason my account wasn't flagged and banned.

    But that's the only time I've ever tried to directly make money with youtube.

    I have some youtube vids that make okay money. Quality beats quantity for sure. You need to have vids that offer value. Compare 2 products, offer shortcuts, reviews etc.
