Affiliate Marketing - Any YouTube Alternatives?

Hi Guys,

I've been reading more and more about Youtube cracking down on internet marketers.

It also seems that Google hit the article directories pretty hard recently.

-Any recommendations on how to avoid getting youtube accounts banned, or if there are good alternative for youtube SEO/Affiliate marketing?

-Is direct linking to an affiliate offer something that can get our accounts banned? (Or redirected through our website)

-Do article directory still offer decent traffic?

    Hey Ron,

    I sincerely doubt that a Youtube account gets banned for no reason.

    If you have unique content that you created yourself you should not have any problem.

    Whether you use affiliate links or not is besides the point. It is simply not true that Google hates affiliates. What they hate is rubbish.

    If some people try to game the system with garbage or with stolen content it's no wonder (and well deserved imo) that their accounts get flagged and eventually deleted.

    Agreed, when it comes to copied content and spammy content.

    I does get annoying falling on videos that don't show what they are about.

    Follow the youtube guidelines.

    The people that are getting banned are probably posting trash videos with the sole purpose of promoting a website or service.

    when you post a video to youtube, it should have "some" kind of informative or entertaining content.
