Any Warriors buying facebook fans? - Were they good quality?

Just a quick question to see if anyone has bought facebook fans? I'm seeing more and more companies offering things like 1'000 fans for $50 and I am quite tempted to try it.

But.... are they good quality or just the Mafia wars bunch?

Anyone tried these services, was it worthwhile or not?

I personally feel buying Fans is not a good idea. First of all, who know from where they came from. Secondly, the companies who offers such services probably must be bribing users to like a certain page, which means they are there just because they were told to and not because they are interested in your news. So better to have 10 interested users than 1000s who don't care about your page.

I've bought likes from fiverr before, and the result was a page that went viral.

The paid likes were people from all over the world, mostly eastern countries. But as a result, the likes continue to roll in every day.

If you're already considering $50... you'd be better off getting a PPC ad on Facebook instead. It converts better, and you can control regions, interests and other factors of who your ad is shown to.

        cheers for that.

its interesting that you seem to have had good results with both paid likes and ppc, perhaps i'll give both options a try. Haven't tried ppc with facebook before so this is a new area for me.
