Here's something about EzineArticles

I've read a number of posts about some of us having trouble getting articles published to EZA. Hell, I've had some rejected. Here are some answers and maybe some solutions for you and me.

I was just researching some articles this evening and found this,

EzineArticles lists authors by their first name.

The top article writer in the "S" column is Sean R Mize with a whopping 9634 articles written. I don't know if Sean wrote all those articles but in any case, that's a ton. And almost everyone has heard of Sean.

Number 3 in the "S" column is our one and only Steve Wagenheim with an amazing 1314 articles! That's an article a day for 3.6 years!

There is no surprise why Steve is so successful. He works it.

The best way to learn how to write EzineArticles with successful submissions is to read what these guys write. Don't copy the message, but copy the method, style, work ethic, keyword use, resource box and so on for your own niche or product.

I write 3 or 4 a week - sometimes a day - and they all get approved. Once you learn their rules, it's not very hard.

Articles only have to be 250+ words - that's just a few thoughts typed out.

The big thing is sitting down and saying "Im not getting up until I write 3 articles" and then doing it.

Well I haven't written but about 6 or 7 to EZA but after getting a few rejected I took stock of what I was doing and fixed it.

But, I am ramping it up now.

By the way, Sean Mize also has some articles on writing articles. I think I will copy some links and post them when someone asks.

I agree that the biggest hurdle is just pumping them out and getting them done. You're not doing it right unless you're starting to develop callouses on your fingers. When I go to bed with aching fingers, I know that I've done a good day's worth of work.

Wow, it is amazing how he finds the time to come and make 10,000 posts here :-)

Yea, no kidding Shannon, and this is just another forum he dominates!

The way I see it, even a stopped clock is right twice a day. Get enough articles out there and you are bound to kill a bear eventually.

Awesome authors! I even found 2 names under Sean. One is Sean R Mize (9,634 Articles), and other is Sean Mize(1,798 Articles). Both have the same photo, by the way.

I am not just so sure that it's alright for EZA to have 2 names in on identity. Well, I guess it is as long as your content is compelling.

    • Call me crazy but...

Interesting thread - and I can't believe there's someone in here that hasn't yet seen the value of article writing! Outside of affiliates, I think it's one the top 3 sources of free traffic.

Couple of quick thoughts if I might...

I've had a ton of articles approved under different accounts and different pen names (I use a different pen name for each niche) and had only three or four "rejected" and it was my fault 99.9% of the time. Forgot a rule or two and once corrected the article was immediately approved. The few that did get rejected and I couldn't see anything wrong, I simply changed one word in an arbitrary sentence and it was approved. Go figure...

The most important thing is to actually read the TOS. As boring as it is, understanding and following it will SIGNIFICANTLY increase your approval rate and decrease the time it takes to approve your article.

Use a pen name for each niche. The value of having an article published in the appearance of being an "expert" on that topic. If you're writing articles on everything from Forex to rose gardening it's a little harder to establish a reputation as an expert in anything. Even the non-savvy Internet reader is going to see you're just "data dumping" and it's going to kill your credibility, traffic and sales.

If you're using PLR articles, for Heaven's sake take the time to rewrite them. I despise article spinners (the end result usually makes no sense and is keyword poor) - instead I use a system that allows me to pump out 5 or 6 articles in about 20 minutes that are solid content and keyword balanced.

I get a ton of free traffic and a high number of my articles get picked up by other sites as well. Helps w/ the SEO stuff and also with the "expert" title.

And your suggestion to take a look at what Wags is doing is right on the money.

And on a completely unrelated topic - best wishes for a safe and blessed New Year for all.

He uses one of them for ghostwritten articles and
another for articles that he generates personally.

It's okay for EZA to have 2 names in one identity
because it's a pen name. A lot of article marketers
have it... Allen Graves, Dean Shainin, etc

Wow! Never took a look at that! I'm on the first page for M's!!!!!

    Ok but really....

I've honestly never had any problems with Ezine. Sure I've had a few rejected but they were all my fault. It's only when I allow my quality control to fall off a bit do I have problems. The formula IMO is very simple...

Write good content...stick to their rules...don't abuse the system (links, promo etc) and you shouldn't really have many problems at all.

P.S. And I've had a lot of editors look through my articles!

Im sure there are may EZA authors with as many or more.

Remember that many marketers use "pen names" as well, and change them according to niche.

Though I would seriously consider outsource B4 attempting those kinds of numbers in article writing.
